Someone needs to contact IRCC mexico with that info because so far they are telling ppl all is stopped til Jan 2020
I wouldnt trust that response you got. The IRCC email may not be about the actual cSQ

I wish i could contact them for you guys but we got our PR 2 yrs ago, or else id be all over this.

CSQ at Quebec is like the provincial "PR" means permanent resident of Quebec... so i don't know what else could that be.

Another girl on fb just got the same message from her immigration consultant, basically no other visa until 2020 for quebec once again, the rep was given this info from IRCC mexico and not the gov of quebec directly.... just a heads up for you all

If you need to confirm this i urge you to contact the IRCC that has your file and not the csq. Ircc are the ones that are following directives and the local gov office may not have the proper info.

Is a really weird situation... no one seems to have this info asked ircc bt webform they just said as vague that quebec can put their own regulations and they refered me to the website of midi which means nothing... something is hidden behind this all

Yet everyone on FB has it
Most big consultants in Quebec have received he email, and i seen 2 different emails so far on there....... not sure why no one here is contacting ircc yet if they doubt it

There is no doubt with me but my case is closed, just trying to keep ppl informed

The problem here is quebec has too many extra processes, its unfair to its own people i find where as the rest of canada has it differently
Just the csq, an extra cost.

Its silly but what can we do, its a provincial thing and not federal one :(

Seems like you will reach your one year by new year anyway no use to stress about it

Yeah but when you contact ircc turns always to be vague never a concrete answer so... for what it worth.. so think im gonna stop for now ircc have none intention to say the real reason. Asked 5 days ago if my app was to be affected on ircc mexico... could have said those info directly but again no.... a policitian answer that is saying nothing.

I just saw the updated thread and its very clear there are 2 more email screen shots that were added today by a reputable lawyer, Joanne Boivin Drapeau, she works as an immigration lawyer in Quebe, she just shared it, it is really that. They reached their max and no visas will be approved until 2020.

Calling ircc is not calling the VO its just a help line, they wouldnt know about that. Often i find they give different answers, very frustrating

Have you tried emailing your VO?

Where did you find this thread??
It was on fb’s Dominicana spouse group, the Quebec one and confirmed by a lawyer that works in immigration

But its now end of the year so no longer relevant
I believe interviews were just held in DR end of November

Just received an email from our VO that my VISA is sent, I applied this year! It might not make it here before the end of the year, but that will be due to postal delays.
