Hello guys!
I'm little confused with the procedure times...I've sent my application on February, and i have the Acknowledgment of Receipt on the 28th of March. They're saying that they opened my file, that it's on process, i have a file number etc etc...
i think this is the (first) AOR we're waiting for.
(The second AOR is after the interview, medical etc etc, its the Federal one if i am correct)
Now we have 4th of June, so it's about 2 months from that date.
I dont have any feedback from the BIQ. I dunno if its good or bad.
When should i wait for my interview (i hope there is no interview but i suppose that i will have one, cause i know french, but i don't have any degree)?
Should i expect a contact after 2 months? Or should i expect and interview after that period?
The 6month period till the interview, starts from the AOR date, so from the 28th of march in my case?

Thank u in advance, and good luck to all.

i know that the motto is "PATIENCE IS VIRTUE"...

Hello Kcharito

could you tell us your area of training, becuause if your area of training is in priority list then you can expect your interview or csq very soon. If your area of trainging is not in priority then you have to wait at least 6-8 after your first AOR.

My area of training is computers.I don't know exactly which is the specific one cause I applied with the help of a law office.I remember I filled a paper wriitng that I'm a software engineer.I finished my studies in computing and information systems on july 01 and I work since then as a software engineer and it consultant.
My spouse's area is sociology and she's finishing a master degree in health promotin and education.
I hope I helped you.
I will ask for my specific area at the law office.

(I checked my emails, at the paper called Declaration by a cnadidate in a profession governed by a professional order in Canada, i applied as a Software Engineer and my spouse as a Sociologist)

Hi guys,

If you sent your CSQ application to Paris, please share your timeline. Also share your country of origin since Paris has two different offices for Europe and Africa.

I'm originally from Africa and had my file transferred to the Paris office on February 11. Still waiting for AOR.

Thanks!!

hello fobie

i think we will give our interview almost together in paris, but i will hope that we all will get good news very soon

Hi Stillhope,

Good to see you here too. Hopefully, it would hold at the same time so we'd better start brushing up on our french conversational skills ;D
