I have been called for interview. My french level is basically zero though in the application form l indicated level 1.
Am really scared.

Hi,

I'm exactly like you. I have no idea about French.
I thought they don't hold interviews in Montreal though. I have been told it should be outside Canada.

I didn't send my file yet and dunno what to do ?
would you please share your experience ?

I already answered this question. Let me repeat it again.

The level of my french is just beginner. The interviewer asked me if l wanted my interview in English or French. I said English.
I was asked the following questions; questions to confirm my personal information, why Quebec, why do you think you are a good candidate for Quebec, what do you know about Quebec common value, some key components of Quebec economy, the premier of quebec, the mayor of montreal, where l hope to find a job. In the end she asked me very basic questions in French. The interview was like 95% English.

Wish you all the best of luck.

thank u que100. How long did it take? and did they ask about your job experience and other cross question ?

It took about 7 months. I wasn't asked about my work experience.

Hi Que100,

Please share your timeline or just provide link if already shared elsewhere, I am suprised it took 7 months just for csq. did you apply from within Canada?

Congrats on your interview!

Hello Que100,

I am glad to hear your interview went well. I received an interview appointment for Aug 13, 2010 for Montreal. But I am out of Canada on vacation and will be back in Sep 2010 to Montreal.

1- Now should i change my vacation plan and come before my holidays ?
2- Is there any way to change the appointment ? is there any negative effect on your application if you change ?Thanks

Congrats for your CSQ, can you please tell me how much time did it take between applying and being called for the interview. I applied for the CSQ from Montreal in May. I should start expecting around September, right?
Thank you
