I would like to know how to get NOMINATION. Lets say Pharmacist professional in India applied to Hong Kong office. How do I get info of Nomination????
You mean to ask how to make sure your application is in priority list? I guess the bIQ looks at your application and decides this, you don't need to do anything specific .

Guys,
any one who recently got an interview invitation or AOR or any update?
Let's share time lines and experience!

I'm still waiting for my AOR. My credit card has already been charged though.

I have 2 very important questions for people that applied with their spouses:

My girlfriend is the principal applicant for us. She is a registered nurse and took both IELTS (English) and TEFaQ (French) tests. She scored advanced in both.

1) Do I also need to take the French or the English test? Or both?
2) If I don't take the tests, should I still claim advanced English (went to school and worked in US for 9-10 years) and intermediate French (studied it for a long time and am still able to speak pretty well)?

The reason I want to submit without the tests is because it would take me another 2 months to complete them and I want to submit for CSQ asap. We just missed CAP for 3152 in Federal and don't want to loose anymore time.

Thank you all for your inputs!

1) Do I also need to take the French or the English test? Or both? I am the spouse and I submitted my DELF results as I had the score with me. I also had a TOEFL score, and sent that too. However, the principal applicant is my husabnd and he did not send any test results yet.
2) If I don't take the tests, should I still claim advanced English (went to school and worked in US for 9-10 years) and intermediate French (studied it for a long time and am still able to speak pretty well)?Yes, you can claim points. You can send your application now and work on your test results in the meanwhile. Send your test results to your BIQ once you get a file number from them.

The reason I want to submit without the tests is because it would take me another 2 months to complete them and I want to submit for CSQ asap. We just missed CAP for 3152 in Federal and don't want to loose anymore time.Good Luck! :)

For those of you in DC and NY, Quebec immigration is holding an information session about the immigration process. I might be attending it, just to get any extra information.
Those of you who would want to attend, please register for it on the immigration website.

@shootingstar,

Thanks a lot for your reply!
Since I'm about to complete and send my application, can you please answer some more questions?
All other forum members, I would appreciate all inputs:

1) Does the spouse of the principal applicant also have to show employment records?
2) Do we each have to complete a separate Application for Selection Certificate?
3) Since my spouse (the principal applicant) is a registered nurse (regulated profession), does she have to prove she has applied to be recognized by the Quebec nursing committee?
4) Does Quebec have a different method of counting points? Can someone please share where I can find guidelines on how to calculate our score?

I greatly appreciate all your inputs!

I'm sorry if I look like I'm beating around the bush, but I just called AF and it seems impossible to have a French test anywhere in the next 6 months. However, my spouse (she is principal applicant) has both tests (IELTS and TEFaQ) and we have at least 65 points together, without possible adaptability points.
Can I submit like this? Or will they ask me for my proof of language skills anyway? I'm afraid if they ask I won't be able to provide within 60 days:(
Also, since no points are allocated for my work experience, do I need to get all the "company header" letters from current/previous employers?
Please married participants tell me how you submitted your applications!
Merci de tout! J'espere de vous rencontrer a Quebec:)

1. You can very well submit your application
2. Later you can send your TEFaQ paper (or) for now you can send them the TEFaQ registration papers with application
3. They wont ask for your proof at this stage.<if you send it will be good> otherwise no issues
4. Yes, you have to submit all your Experience in "Company Letterhead", send them the photocopy which is notarized

*** i have submitted for me & my wife, she is not currently working but she worked in India before 3 years even though i submitted all her experience letters/educational certificates/etc.

***I haven't submitted any French skill Proof & i am learning it in Fluenz

Hoping for the Best with Blind Guts ;D
