Appl filed (QSW after CSQ): 10 Jul, 2014
AOR and MR : 23 Sep
Medical done 1st Oct
Buy still waiting for ecas to be updated that medicals are received
Do you remember how long it took for you the ecas status to show updated?

Hi Amit,

I took the medical exam on September 22 and the ECAS status was updated on (or a couple of days before) October 16 that the results were received. It really depends on how many applications they're processing at the same time. I've seen some people receiving a "Medical Results Received" more than two months after they had taken their medical exam. So don't worry. It might take some more time

it seems that all the visa offices get stuck for the QSW applications and the PNP also,
what is your visa offices ?
mine is ADVO=Abu Dhabi visa office
my application is received on 20 December 2013,and then nothing
i know a lot of my Friends did the medical in June and July and till now nothing happen , their files is being processed on Ottawa CPD visa office another VO
for my bad luck that my file is in ADVo which in normal cases is very slow and now after this unknown stuck it is double delayed .

Hi Miki,
I submitted my application to Sydney, Nova Scotia (because I live in Canada). I don't know where it would be transferred afterwards, but either way, they have not informed that my application has been transferred somewhere. In all cases, I think, for you, looking at what's happening with applicants who applied through different VOs is not informative for you, because your VO would have a different timeline than other VOs.

Hi Amit,
I didn't get any status update yet. From looking at other people's timelines, it seems it takes from 5 to 7 months from the date you received request for medical gate. At least, that was the case for people submitting in 2013. The next update should be that the processing of the file started. But I have also seen who didn't get such an update and that the next update they received (after medical request) was directly "decision made"

Does any 2014 applicant got passport request, if you know. I just want to see where the application queue has reached. Guess CPP-Ottawa is the slowest for QSW.

Hi guys I still didn't get anything from cic my application was received on March 2014 medical May , some ppl from November and October 2013 got the pass request this month but nothing for 2014 I think

Also I heard the Ontario pnp applicants got phone calls regarding delay or some kind of quality assurance. Does anyone of you got any phone call?

Nothing on my side.
I still think it's early for me to get an update. I'm hoping to get an "in process" update in the next few months.
