Yes am African but I was in London so I applied through BIQ Paris in dec2011.lang docs req in feb2012.Then req for my masters certificate in August 2012.call for first interview in feb2013 but couldn't make coz I had some passport probs. Called for 2nd interview in sept but couldn't make it coz I had an accident on my way to Paris.March 2014 call for 3rd interview but couldn't get a visa to Paris as I had just moved back to Africa. So MIDI advised me to request my file be transferred to Montreal so I can be interviewed in Africa.Sent the form of change of address in May 2014.Got a reply in August that my file had been transferred to Montreal. Was then informed yesterday that am on the waiting list for next interview.

Been a long wait but am happy coz everyday I am learning more and better preparing myself for that INTERVIEW DAY.

It shall be well!

Hello Razaq, and ALL. I beg to defer as regards not using an immigration Lawyer. I started in Sept 2011, got my AOR first quarter in 2012, did my interview in Accra Ghana in Sept 2014, and was accepted by QSW. Now I am waiting to hear from the Nova Scotia offices about the Federal issuing my Immigration Visa- I submitted my final Fed application in December, 2014, the next stage is the MR- Medical Request. Wish I had started prior to now so I would not have been in the country with my family for the elections.
I made a lot of mistakes initially, and if not for using David Cohen's chambers, I would probably have lost hope by now. I was told I should get my Visa in about 18months(21 months from when I submitted my federal). My take about using a lawyer, you make lesser mistakes, your application would be express as they- the immigration offices know you are using an IL, and also you are already adding to the country's economical value.

I submitted my application jan 2011 and got called for interview in accra on the 7th of June, 2011. Got the CSQ same day for myself, wife and baby. I then submitted the federal part of the application on the 23 june, 2011 and nothing has been heard from accra evr since then. Pls is anyone in my shoes?

This is one of the reasons I always insist on using a SME in anything. I am a civil engineer, and in as much as you can get bricklayers, and other artisans to do your building works for you, it cannot be the same as using a CE.
My lawyers told me it takes approximately 21months after submission to get a response, have you called their offices?
