@quebec2011 : I read your query and your right.... For my area of training (Nurse) was in the priority list, so it took us (me and my family) 4 months to get our CSQ at BIQ one exchange tower Hong kong.

Just to share my timeline :

Nov 22, 2010 - Send application to HK
Dec 23, 2010 - received file number
Jan 28, 2011 - received date for interview in HK
Mar 17, 2011 - [interview] CSQ was handed to us by the immigration officer and a booklet about quebec.

I hope I was able to help you. ;)

Re: (No subject)

@ mkshah, yeah that ll do provided u wont move away 4rm HR for greener pasture hence i think couse in management might b better as this ll give u more latitude to move & stil not affect ur quebéc plan. I ll also advice u commence ur french study rightaway especialy ur spouse one year is not a long time

I am working in a computer field from mid of 2007 to 2011 and yes i do have six months of gap in between as i was preparing for few certificate related to software.

Re: (No subject)

@ go2Montréal, by in-process it means ur applicatn has now being placed on d desk of an officer for review. Some in-process are fake. The real in-process wil normally state d date processing began . Hope urs statd d date? The nxt thing is MR SO brace-up bro. Your visa office is quite fast so i wont b suprised if u get ur visa b4 me.lol

Hi quebec2011 & egrace62,

"today" meant 20-jun, the day I posted, :P

My training area is business administration & I got master degree.

Based on what I observe I guess I could receive some further perm letters to inform about missing docs, or refuse, or interview queuing list within around 2 months, or interview letter in 6-10 months.

Given that I think I will start studying French after next 2 months.

Thanks for all helps.

@Shahi:

Do ui try to apply for IT jobs and they ask u for equivalence or what?

Many people said that it is not regulated??

@quebec 2011, I have not got any letter from Visa office. One of my friend here applied in July he got a letter that he is shortlisted for the interview.

Since I applied in August, I thing I have to wait for another couple of months.

Let us see how things goes.

@egrace, I completed electronics and communication 10 years back. But I am totally in the IT industry.

Right now I am working for Electronics manufacturer in the IT area for the past 2 years. DO you think I might not be awarded points for my education. ?
