@ mkshah, i had thought u said u wrkd as a pharma sales Rep till 2006. So with this nw, ur educatn ll b termd outdated. The only challege with ur case is d age of ur qualificatn. And not dat of experience. What of ur spouse what has she got? In terms of age of qualificatn & xperience

Dear Quebec2011, that is what exactly that i am saying. it is very fast. or is that how fast BIQ HK issues AOR? am only trying to find out if he is actually on priority. he may not even av time to learn d french. what do u think?

BIQ HK is one of the fastest BIQ in the world in terms of issuing AORs but the slowest to issue the PA result ;D, I have been waiting for more than 8 months now for interview but still nothing is clear. In fact when I received my AOR I noticed that It was issued exactly 1 day after the application was delivered to BIQ by DHL, But I received it 15 days later by post. I thought if they are issuing the AORs this fast then surely I will be called for interview in 4 months or Max. 5, But it is more than 8 months now and still my inbox is dreaming of interview letter :D.

I think he has about 8-10 months to study french and improve it but he should keep in mind that anything is possible.

regards,

Hi egrace,
My spouse's education is Bachelor's Commerce (major in Accountancy) and she had worked as Accounts Assistant for 2 and half years.

but she is lacking in language skills, english and french.

Re: (No subject)

@ quebec2011, thnks. D mssg is very clear. Thnks for adding to my knowledge. Ur good news is around d corner. Aw long did shahi stayd at Biq Hk, u shld b able to use dat compare if its almost time 4u. Ur Biq might b slow but ur visa office ll more than compensate 4d wait cos they are supersonic fast.

Re: (No subject)

@ mkshah, u are left with 3choices (1) either u try to secure another job within ur AOT & stay on d job for 8mnths b4 applying. U & ur spouse can use this period to learn french. (2) or go back to sch for to get a new degree. (3) or look for a way to hlp ur wife improve are language skils for some mnths. Pls in what language was ur spouse taught during her degree program?

Hi egrace
it is not in english. it is in regional language.

Re: (No subject)

@ mkshah, then i think it ll b wise u hold-on for now & try to tighten d loose ends. Then consider d two rmaining options or any other & make a plan. Let ur spouse knw d plan & her own share of responsibility. D pain of waiting another year b4 applying is far better dan d agony of a rejectn with no money refund. It would av bn a differnt thing had ur 1st experience ends in 2006.

Re: (No subject)

Friends,

My cousin is already living in Canada told me that, it is no longer possible to apply under NOC 0213 for any province.
Is it true? if I want to apply under 0213 then do i need a job offer letter?

Jigs.

Re: (No subject)

Hi egrace,
Yes, you are right. I am planning to take a diploma related to my last 5 years experience, ie in Insurance & Risk management.
Can I do a diploma course in HR since I am working as Training Officer in a Life Insurance Co since last 4 years and Training & Development is a part of HR. So if I get a diploma in HR (1 year course) then will my area of training and work exp be counted?
