Do we have a English version of the following guide:

No, I don't think there is one. I guess it's another way of making sure we learn French. But if you have doubts about any part of it, just copy and paste and we can try to help you (as long as it's a short text).

hi, im anurse working in dubai...I dont know where is the right place to submit my application, biq hk or damascus? im confused..please help!

Salut!

I just found this topic....thanks for starting it! My Quebecois husband is my sponsor and I am a US citizen, thus I'm applying outland through Buffalo. We've received federal sponsorship approval and are awaiting the CSQ. (I was told I would receive it within the next two weeks).

My question: Is it true that Buffalo will not proceed without first having the CSQ? The reason I ask is that my ecas status read Application Received back in April, but I've not received an AOR either by e-mail or by post. Is this normal?

Genona, if you have been in dubai for more than a year, then you will have to apply to Damascus. If less than a year, then HK.

:)

Hey all...
To all who submitted their files at DAMASCUS BIQ, Please find below what I just received from my lawyer:

Cher/e client/e,

Hello my friends! :)

I'm still waiting for a response from Vienna (Federal Application sent 10 days ago).
But, I have a problem...

I have a girlfriend (fiance) for two and a half years. Our plan was like this: 1. I go first, try to settle, to find a job; 2. Import her there.
Yesterday, we found out that she is pregnant. The biggest problem is that I wrote on both of my applications 'single', so the Canadians don't know that she exist at all. Please, help me... I am desperate...

Help help!! these french verbs are killing me, whats the most efficient [and quickest] way of learning them?? :D

Hello Guys,

I have a quick question... please forgive me if I sound stupid. how do I write my current employment in the work experience section of the CSQ form? it forces you to write a date on the "to" section... any ideas?

Thanks
nk

Re: (No subject)

@ nktheone, if u are still on ur most current job, the leave the 'TO' Section of d form blank

Re: (No subject)

@ Am going going, i will advice u know how to classify verbs into 6-classes based on their ending eg the er-class, IR- class etc then know the ending pattern for each of these classes. Then know few irregular verbs that dosent av a specific ending pattern. With this u shld b able to conjugate most of d words u ll need

Re: (No subject)

Thanks Egrace, thought they were only 3 classes of regular verbs RE,ER & IR. Which are the other 3?

hello guys, i might sound repetitive, but could someone enlighten my unclear comprehension about the requirements in QSW specifically the requirements in the french language. why is it that if someone try to complete the PEI (evaluation) and he choose NO NOTHING about the french language, the result will still be positive. and everyone here in the forum says french is a must. it should always been a negative result whenever you try the evaluation without choosing at least the first level of the basic french language.

we said its a must as it will affect your application if your profession is not in the priority list thus having a knowledge of french will boast your case. its may have been that when you do the evaluation they only based on your general info given but when you actually submit your application will be a different story. it will not hurt you to learn french and when youre there it would be piece of cake as it will help you integrate into quebec society faster. just try buddy ;)
