preliminary evaluation and preliminary review are different things . preliminary evaluation is done by yourself before submitting file and preliminary review is started after verification of file is completed which takes about 40 months for india then 3 months for preliminary review and 9 months for selection review

Sorry for confusion, btw Myself and BID are both referring to preliminary review stage as both our files r already submitted long time ago and also files were updated after docs request. Now the only question is how does one know if file is at 1st, 2nd or 3rd stage as BID says that his file is at one of these stages.

your countdown time starts after receiving the file number. i applied at december, 2013 and got AOR at April 2014. but still now there is no news from MIDI. 18 months have already passed after the file number.

Hi, are you from Bangladesh? For Bangladesh preliminary review time is 24 month, I am also from Bangladesh. What is your AOT?

Yes, I am from Bangladesh. my AOT is Business Administration. Your aot is chemistry? i guess, my application will be rejected. do you know what is the point for MBA? I dont know what is alloted point for MBA.

I had actually sent the details with some written explanation as well. Is there any thing that can be attempted to salvage the situation. Anyone been in similar situation kindly throw some light please..

Your case is similar to mine. I updated the docs they requested on 2 july and still waiting. But how do u know that ur file is at preliminary evaluation stage. There is no way that they confirm at what stage the file is. Did you call them or did you receive any email confirming the same. If so, than what do you think would be my file status which is similar to yours

I have a similar case here too, I had received my AOR in Dec 2013. I received an e mail from them with subject line as below;

Objet : Intention de rejeter votre demande de certificat de selection

it had a PDF attached to it and it was 10 pages long. they are asking me to submit the docs again. after waiting for so long again this paper work is frustrating

What is your major subject? At present all most all BBA subjects are at first or second priority list.
So why are you thinking your file will be rejected?
I think you are in good position now.

Just a clarifying question here, when the Docs are requested, will that request come with a application rejected subject, which will ask to submit the docs? or it will simply ask to submit the docs?

Because i read your every post. However my situation, is very complex. I have graduation and post graduation on agriculture and later on i have done my mba major in finance. and I am working in a bank in bangladesh for 10 years. Now please tell me what is my AOT and what will i get for this. I am really very much tensed.

hi friends bad news i got rejection letter from Quebec.i updated my documents on6th oct and on22 i got decision. objection is spouse work legality of document not sent from2009 to 2013.actualy she never fill return and no pf contribution. her work was on contrac in small ferm we did not claim points for her experience even then they rejected.we only sent explanation letter and basic limit of tax.now any way to approach them.

Dear Seniors and all,

I have a question regarding legality of work, since the bureau as well as the local government where my partner (de facto) previously worked is not providing certificate for tax exemption, and only advised us to print the revenue resolution regarding tax exemption for minimum wage earner, do we still need to write a letter explaining the data gathered? Or do we still need to get the certificate through an attorney? Kindly please advise. Thanks!

please do whatever you can to get exemption letter because they will reject your application i got rejection because of this recently on22 oct.
