Hi Shahi,

Congratulations for your Interview Call. I had a specific query pertaining to the DELF A1 certificate. This time the results were delayed and as of now I only have the attestation from Alliance Francaise.

I do not have the proper certificate from the French Embassy. It would take another couple of months. I hope you are aware of this.

So, I wished to inquire whether I can go ahead with the application and submit this attestation. Would this be o.k.

Please let me know about your thoughts.

Git my interview call..its 23rdNov 2010..but there is a prob..the letter arrived one month after the issue..and we had to confirm in 21 days!! :-[

indian post office is *censored word*!! what do i do now??please help

I applied my QSW(BIQ) in September 22nd and received my AOR on October 1st. I am keeping my fingers crossed as I am in the border regarding points. I have completed my DELF A1 and about to start my A2. Wondering how many points will I score for A1 with 89%. Please let me know if there you have any information about this.

Hi everyone ... i am new to this forum... and willing to apply for the quebec skilled worker ......
Plz guide....

Following are my particulars
i am a science teacher in a senior secondary school for last 6 years

and as far as my qualification is concern i have done B.Sc. (Medical),B.Ed., M.Ed., M.A (English) and now i am doing M.Sc. (Chemistry).

i have no knowledge of French, but i am preparing for A1. (Plz guide me abt French Exams)

I am married and my spouse is also a teacher in same school. and is graduate.

we are blessed with one child and his age is 4+

no relative is Quebec

no job offer letter is there

my IELTS bands are R 6 L 6.5 W 5.5 S 5.5

My questions are
am i eligible for QSC...
and can i apply even without the knowledge/certification of French
will i get 24 point in education (12 of Masters and 12 for section B Training Area)

Welcome to the forum & to our thread.
First, I would recommend that u visit the official site of immigration to Quebechttp://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.html.
There u can evaluate ur chances of being selected, which is a good first step assessment.

Knowledge of French language is not required at the time u apply.
HOWEVER, u may have to learn the language & even to show how serious u are in learning it.

By doing the online assessment, u'll have a clearer view of what's needed to support ur application.

I will do that and get the DELF A1 certificate immediately.

Another issue I am facing is regarding the work experience letter. On the website, they have mentioned that it should be describing the responsibilities of the candidate.

But what I have is simply a 5-7 line letter which states that this person was working as so and so in so and so division during so and so tenure.

Moreover, if your education is not more than 5 years old, the kind of work experience you have does not matter. What matters is that you should be having experience.

Do you still recommend me to get the work experience letters from my previous employers in a detailed format.

Could you share the details of your work experience letters and other guys whose applications have been accepted. Also, I did not understand what you meant by Plncmy...... in your last post.

Hi all, i had received a letter from Quebec immigration on 16th of June, 2010 and according to which my name is on their waiting list for the Selection certificate interview which will held at New York on unspecified date...My question is, when i can receive my actual date for the interview after getting this letter from them or when they can possibly call me for the Interview at NY .... anyone already had experience with this/interview, please share it and any advice from your side will be much appreciated

Plncmy was a name of the person who asked me a question. That reply was for him.

As far as EXp letter is concerned, i sent the one given by my emloyer ,,,very small and concise mentioning my Job post and responsibilities. I think you should send the letter.

Hi guys, could you please help me with this very importnant question???

I have been in Montreal for 2 weeks now. I have to update the Vienna office within 30 days of the changes regaring my new address in Montreal and my new job.

Can I do it by just emailing them or should I send a letter by regular mail (post office)?

Please advice as soon as you can because I have to do it by Monday!!!

Ok thanks guys. I will email them today and also send a regural letter on Monday just be on a safe side, I guess.

For all of you computer professionals, all I can say is that if you're really good at this and have experience you can easily get a job here. No special license required.

I got a job in sales for this website development company who primarily serves the US so its English speaking only.

They are currently looking for a web designer so if any of you know that suff well, I can get you a job there
