Hi Everyone,

Are they now accepting application for 2015?

Thanks!

Not unless you are applying under PEQ, or have a validated job offer.

Hi Experts,

I had one question in my mind which panics me a lot.....

While i was reading A-1520-AA form point no 21(Work Experience acquired as an employee over past five years)

there is one notification on left side displaying(Employment Contracts and promises of employment are not accepted)

Currently am working as contractual employee since april 2014, will my current job work experience be counted ??

am really worried :(, please suggest

Stop panicking ;).

If you read point 21 carefully, it stipulated what the work attestation/certificate must contain, and the format in which it must be presented.

No where does it say that contract employment is not acceptable.

I have some query regarding the pointing system. I'm a nurse and they gave us points for 16 but now its 12. Will it affect my points if I submitted my application January 2014?

Thanks

Hi Setapart51

I asked a similar question from another immigration consultant called "BBimmigration" and below was their response:

In recent years, Quebec Immigration would analyze the application in function of whichever list of AoT was most favorable to the applicant.

However, in most recent times, Quebec Immigration has been assessing applications in a non-homogenous way.

During the course of the previous year, 53% of regular skilled worker applications were rejected or refused for arguable reasons.

Based on the explanations provided above, it is difficult to determine the way in which Quebec Immigration will choose to analyze your file.

If you would like to discuss the situation further, we can offer you a consultation with one of our attorneys in order to analyze your situation in detail and answer any questions you may have. etc etc etc...

sorry to post info from another law firm here, but it was relevant to the concern quoted herein

The Quebec government has also introduced a cap on application intake as follows. The maximum numbers of applications accepted include:
• Business people: Investors: 1750 / Entrepreneurs and self-employed workers: 500
• Skilled workers: 20,000
This will allow the Quebec government to process applications faster and deal with the current backlog. As of June 30, 2013, 77,363 applications for a Certificat de sélection du Québec were pending (65, 202 from skilled workers, 11, 920 from investors and 241 from business people).
In 2011-2012, Quebec received 7,179 immigration applications from investors, 275 from entrepreneurs and self-employed, and 53,890 from skilled foreign workers.

http://pvtistes.net/canada/un-quota-de-demandes-de-csq-diminue-au-1er-avril-2014/

after aout 2013 if we estimate applications received they got only 10048+2173 or you may say maximum 15000 as advance intermediate french was imposed ans previously on june 2013 only 65202 applications for skilled workers were pending. so total 65000+15000= 80000 applications and average selection per year =27000 so all applicants will get csq upto mid 2016.
also in my view applications only few aadvance intermediate french persons from INDIA u may say 1000 . so 2011 and 12 applicants be ready to pack their bags to Quebec and improve french

2011-12 they got 53890 12-13 they applied cap 14300, 13-14 applied cap 20000 and year 14-15 cap was 6500 and now they want to recieve 6300 applications

Helo,

Some one please help me to clear a doubt , I did by B Tech in Mechanical engineering, but I never worked in the respective feild. I have 8 years experience in Supply Chain- Customer service. Will I be applicable to Apply.

As I am confused reading this is immigration-quebec Website : The diploma must have been awarded within the five years preceding the application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec Selection Certificate). If this is not the case, the candidate must have legally practised for at least one year, during the five years preceding the application for a CSQ, a profession directly related to the diploma obtained and for which he or she is being assessed.

Lalitha

excuse me do you mean that the applicants who applied in 2011-2012 will get csq without interview although they don't have advance intermediate french certificate if they are on the waiting list ???
