Hello guys,

Hope some one may answer... :)

I need to clarify one thing so that i can gain confidence and move ahead for applying qswp
As i had enough point to apply.

I had my B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering but my degree is entitled with Bachelor in computer engineering

if i apply AOT as Computer Engineer which indeed falls under Section A

Can my NOC be of Softwar Engineer?? Or it is mandatory to have NOC in Computer Engineer(except software engineer)

I have my sole experience in web software development

Can rejection take place??

as per govt. of Quebec guideline pls find the below details.

  • The 2015 List of areas of training (PDF, 212 Kb) now awards differentiated points to areas of training based on if they are recognized by a foreign diploma or a Québec diploma (or equivalent);
  • The 2015 List of areas of training (PDF, 212 Kb) applies to all applications as of January 26, 2015.
  • The Ministère prioritizes the processing of immigration applications filed by skilled worker candidates with diplomas according to the points associated with the area of training on the 2015 List of areas of training (PDF, 212 Kb).
  • The diploma must have been awarded within the five years preceding the application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec Selection Certificate). If this is not the case, the candidate must have legally practised for at least one year, during the five years preceding the application for a CSQ, a profession directly related to the diploma obtained and for which he or she is being assessed.

Thanks for your reply dear... I have read Quebec guideline and i am sure that my AOT falls under Section A, but am really worried about

My AOT - Computer Engineer
Experience - as a Software Engineer

Can Obove Combination cannot lead to mismatch and results in point reduction or rejection??

Hope someone experienced may answer....:)

Pune university attestation will not work.

If u are providing transcripts then it will go original.

If u are providing Xerox copy of your degree then get notarized from notary public.

Observation which relates to several recent posts:

Immigration Quebec announced it will be implementing an online application process (probably October 2015)

Immigration Quebec states the QSW program opening date will be announced later in 2015 - 2016.

While I think it's a good idea to prepare to apply *soon*, we have no idea/no official announcement that the program will open October 1st 2015.

Keep checking the website for news updates.

hello all

i have two question
i have studied my bachelor degree in india
regarding the university documents which we have to submit to Quebec on 1st of october is only the followings?
1)university degree
2)university transcript

or anything else also?
and we have to only rotary the xerox copies of these docs?

there is no need for attestation and verification right? because i have not seen anywhere mentioning about attestation and verification ?

Hello Fazaeli

you should send both
a) University degree's and Transcripts - your first choice should be to send the original. 2nd) to have the university you attended certify a copy (institution's stamp and signature from the registrar). 3rd) notary public if these two (2) mentioned herein are not available (simply put, last resort).

b) you should also do the same for all schools attended even high schools (if no high school diploma is given you must have a letter from that institution stating this - or show proof that you do no receive high school diplomas for your country).

Attestations are not accepted any longer - you need the original certificates and transcripts, otherwise see above for what is accepted.

taxes and legality of employment:
a) proof of tax contributions or social security payments are up to date - if you cannot obtain these, you must obtain a signed and stamped certificate from your inland revenue department.

b) legality of employment such as job letter from your employer that is provided with the company's letterhead.

c) legality of residence, if you are living outside of your original country

french proof:
If your profile is really strong it is not obligatory to submit french proof. However, if it is not strong, you can increase your eligibility by submitting a french score of B2 or higher. Please note you would need 16/25 for each task (listening, speaking, writing, reading) for that score to be regarded as B2.

Finally, anything you list on your application...please have the proof to support

God Bless
