Ok, so today immigration Quebec modified their website and it says in French:
"ATTENTION :
la période de réception
sera annoncée au cours
de l'année 2015-2016**"

Until yesterday the intake period was supposed to be announced during 2015 but today they change during 2015-2016 I guess they still have a huge backlog with past year applications and decided to postpone the intake period for this year... Hope to hear some good news soon .

Yes, they requested me to update the tax docs at the end of last December and gave me 90 days and I've sent all docs on last March. What about you?

Ok that's good.
You will get a response from them within 3-6months.

As for me,
I was asked to update my file in march 2014,
I submitted them in may 2014,
In December they sent me a mail of "verification of documents produced"
Still waiting to hear from them.

Yes, they always update the French version and if they do later they update they Spanish and English version however I will keep improving French until they want to open that intake period..

have you read my last post about the point system? applicant will retain their previous points with regards to the date you applied for csq?

Ok,
If you submitted all documents in the right format,
They wont ask for anything else and it will save you some months.

Yes I saw it but It doesn't change anything for me,
I got B2 in french and my AOT is 6points with the old rules and 12 points with the new rules.
I have 59 with old rules and 64 with new rules as a single applicant.


I don't know why they are still delaying my application despite having enough points

So, I guess I should've got the same mail by now. Anyways, do think making the processing time faster would let to more file rejection? Also, heard that the verdict from the court is about to be implemented, which means pre April, 2013 applicants would be treated according to the old rules. You heard about it too? Really worried.

Getting a response after updating your file takes around 3- 6months,
In my own case, it was 6months while it took others a month or 2.
Faster processing times with Quebec? I don't think such word exists in their dictionary.

before the december 2011 rules of submitting language test took effect,
Obtaining csq takes maximum of 2years (because of interview) here, that's if you didn't submit TEF,

Because it was written on their website then that the interview was mainly to check out your French,

When it became compulsory to submit the test, my lawyer told that its a good thing for me because we will be getting our csq in 6-9months.

It's been 3years now.
I don't think they have the intension of reducing it. Since they have not been able to reduce it despite asking us to submit tef .
But if they do, we will celebrate

I observed that some have these status

1. We received your application for permanent residence on _____
2. We started processing your application on ____.
3. Medicals received

I on other hand just have two lines in the ECAS

Hi dear, why would you expect soon you may receive letter asking you to update documents? If "Verification of documents submitted" takes 43 months for KSA, you wont hear from them for another three plus years...
Another question for what you have posted, does it mean people who applied before 2015 may have the same AOT when they applied?

I think for 2015 applicant would base its AOT points from 2015 AOT. And whatever rules given on 2015.

And as well we called MIDI to ask for our application's status they said our application status was already on Preliminary Review (base from their system).

I think our application was done on verification review stage (base from the three processing stage mentioned):
1.) verification of Documents submitted (KSA 43 months)
2.) Preliminary Review (KSA 1-3 months)
3.) Selection Review (KSA 1-9 months)

Right? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

We haven't had any notice that MIDI already transferred our application from Verification to Preliminary Stage.

Oh okay we got FN in August, 2014, noc3012, so according to this we can keep our 16 points..?

it sounds like that and i think i was thinking that way too. because during before we havd 64 points and these new 2015 AOT we'll only have 60 points. i had a big grin on my face hearing this news. have you called MIDI to ask what was your status? hopefully we can hear a good news after 3 months due to the fact that our application was on Preliminary Review as of now. right?
