I have received a letter from Quebec authorities asking me to submit following documents:
Employment verification letter from employer in a specific format
Income tax returns certified by IT Dept
Education certificates certified by university

I am trying to get my documents in specifed formats but facing challenges.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to get documents in specified formats.

Hi anand and other seniors.
I m frm Pakistan my salary neither falls in incom tax nor in social security contributions so if midi ask me for the proof of exemption frm both how can I provide them. I submitted my salary slips though which show that no tax is deducted frm my salary .I just want to be at safe side by collecting all these papers in proper format to prevent rejection. Kindly everyone share ur thoughts.

It's just a letter to inform you, nothing to worry about even if it got lost, because they have your FN in their record anyway.. its just you do not know on your own side. I suggest you contact them and ask.

How can I contact them by phone or emai? Which number?

The summary of the mail I got from MICC for docuemnts request is that any income document provided by employer ( salary slips, tax forms..etc) are not valid. Only Income tax acknowledgments from Revenue service are acceptable. I dont know how things work in Pakistan but I think you need to get a letter from Tax department or Charted accountant to prove that you indeed are exempt from filing or paying the income tax.

I know it is some times tough to get letter in format you need but try harder. The employer cannot deny this legally, they just try to play tough so that the dont get these request from all.
Now for accomplishments, it could be any award you won, any significant project you executed or even some project you were part of. I learnt that " Full Time Direct Employee" is must in letters. In canada some jobs are temporary and some fulltime direct. we dont have such systems in our country but they want to see this term in experience letter. Please dont forget that. Its a good practice to attach the business card of the issuing authority. This gives sends positive vibe. Also try to get the original copy. This is not your birth certficate which is difficult to get.

Thank you Anand for your information. It is true they will not accept Form 16 income tax documents that is provided by Employer. They will accept only income tax return acknowledgment which is by hand written or through online. If you send Form 16 as proof then they will reject. Though your salary is not taxable then even you have to show them income tax return acknowledgment documents. So plz. meet any C.A. and try to take income tax return acknowledgment of last two years.

Anand what do u mean by charted acountant I mean acountant should be of tax department or we can get this proof letter from any charted acountant?

Practicing CA registered with your government. Every country will have registered accounts who deal with revenue services. you can find one easily I think.

didn't you submit income tax & social security tax document during submission of applications. I think this is mandatory to submit at least 1-2 latest year taxation documents.But if your salary doesn't fall under the taxation rules .. u can submit the letter from tax department stating the specify resons.
