Salut canadien85 n all,

Here you go with the document link. Excellent reference for people who are calculating their points for "Training" section.

www2.publicationsduquebec.gouv.qc.ca/dynamicSearch/telecharge.php?type=7&file=GPI-3-1.pdf

List of countries in available on page 7. India is included I suppose as INDIE.

Bonne chance!! tous vous voir bientôt au Québec (c u all in Quebec soon)

Salut Shahi,

I am preparing my application and wanted to know what proof can I include that I have started learning french and am serious about it. Actaully the nature of my current job doesn't allow me to attend a course at AF.

What options do I have for online courses that also provide a valid document I am learning french. Don't get me wrong. I am really serious and spend atleast 1/2 hour of the day in building french vocabulary and sentence structure etc. thru various online sources and audio CDs.

sil vous plait me guider (please guide me)

@ Dafodill05 & VickyRocks

Merci Beaucoup! for your valuable inputs.

Dafodills05, can you post the link of required documents again. The google translation is not working in the link. May be you can paste the french version link.

Salut Shahi,

I just took the test at france-pub.com/french/french-test.html and got 85%. I am not sure if you have seen the test before. I was just wondering what level is it? Is this enough for passing A1.

2nd Question. How are DELF A1 and A2 conducted? Do we have to give it in two consecutive days or its upto us how we choose e.g A1 in August and A2 in October depending on registration. you seems to know my action plan now :)

Merci!

The "List of Forms and documents to be enclosed...." says:

All copies of the documents indicated below must be authenticated by the institution which holds the original or by the legal authority duly authorized to certify as true a copy of a document, that is, a copy of an original that can be traced.

I did my bachelors and Masters from the US, I have the transcripts from my college and university - no problems there. However, the degree's that were issued upon completion of studies - I didn't notarize them when I left the US.

I guess they will verify all this information against the originals when I am interviewed. Th best I can do now is to get the copies attested locally before submitting my application to Hong Kong? Suggestions, thoughts....please.

hey vicky, hope all of your colleagues and relatives are safe? i heard that there were 6 people who were the members of youth parliament, do you know them? i guess you are also the member of that parliament?

@kaddu..yea i did the same thing..they can verify the originals at the time of the interview.

@Vicky..i hope all is well..

@Immica... well the best proof is AF enrollment..however you can mention the sites you are a member of for learning french. Yes Delf A1 and A2 so on can be taken on consecutive days. No problem with that.

Thanks and Regards,
Shahi

hey shahi: im planning to write an email to BIQ hong kong, regarding the current status of my case, what do you advice? should I or should I not?

dear all

plz reply on my queries on page 36...........

plz SHAHI..........ICEBERG.......AND ALLL

Hey Angel,

i dont think there is any problem, but i guess wait mid till nxt month. Plus one more thing, one of my classmate in AF told me she had applied too for quebec and she got a letter for any french proof. Since your file has been under processing too, you might get a letter asking proof of proficiency in french language in 120 days.

Thought should let you know..may be you can be well prepared.

Regards,
Shahi

hi canadien85

1. I dont know equivalency myself. If you find anything kindly share on this forum.

2. I guess u send your work exp certificates and quote 42 months in the form. When your file is being reviewed, the officials consider that by the time your interview will be scheduled, you will have 48 months work exp. dont worry abt it.

3.You can send french exam results. If you claim too high a proficiency level, they will demand proof of it during initial review. take your call on this.

Good luck

Shahi

hey Shahi, thanks for the info. and will write to them after 15th aug.
