Man...this is taking too long.

I filed an application for the CSQ in April 2013. As I filed it under the Quebec Experience Class program, I benefited from the 20 business day SLA and so received the CSQ in May 2013.

I then proceeded to file an application with the federal government, to be processes in Singapore. Yah, I left Quebec for a job in South East Asia.
CIC has acknowledged receipt of my application on the 4 November 2013. As you probably figured, it will be one year since the receipt of application in a week's time.

No news, no request for medicals so far. Previous performances suggests that it takes 18 months to process 80% of applications at the Singapore office.

I find the wait exceptionally excruciating....largely because the wait for the CSQ was so short, while the federal part will take more than a year.

Anybody in a similar situation?

Dear, stay positive! Most seniors here have been waiting for a CSQ for 3 or more years... Compared to them, well...

Dear All,

I submitted my application on 28th march 2014 and my CC charged on 25th July 2014
I received the AOR on same day (via mail). I received the Reference Individual number (HA 000000XXXXXX) ....i guess this is CSQ number.

Now how much time it will take to process next level. ...

can some one please let me know ...

Thanks for your guidance

the number is not csq number it is the file number from which country did you apply

I had applied in Feb,2013. I didn't get any update till now except my file no. No documents update...nothing. Last week I called them and got same answer. It's in processing.I'm fed up of this waiting game. Really a bad experience with Quebec Immigration system.

To be fair, CIC did indicate that in the recent past, it will take 18 months to process 80% of QSW applications.
In comparison, FSW applications examined in Singapore takes about 28 months. So one year is not really long, all things considered.

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone is going through or has gone through with their application being processed at the CIO Sydney, NS and if they could share their experience with us regarding how long it takes them to process your application.

My application was received by the CIO in January of this year, did my medical and sent in my RPRF by July. My last contact with them was late-May.

I'm also wondering, are applicants coming from visitor-visa-exempted countries required to submit their passport before being granted PR?

Thank you in advance for your input!!!
