Hi Rabb,

Congrats. As i had mentioned earlier.. we have a similar profile. Few questions.. just to compare our case...

1. Do you and your spouse both work in the same industry
2. Do you have kids. if so how many
3. Are you and your spouse within the 35 age limit?
4. Did you update your IT documents anytime? Did you atleast send it along with your application?

Apart from these 4 all other conditions, as i look seem to be similar for us both.

Can you please answer the above querie

Yay!!!!!!!!!!! people i just got off the phone with quebec customer care , application moved from waiting to ***processing***, keeping my fingers crossed. ;)

Dear ,

my spouse applied for the "equivalance des etudes effectués hors Quebec", she send the file on 20/09/2014 and they received it on 24/09/2014.
the credit card has been debited on 07/10/2014 and today she receive the AOR as well as the receipt of payment.

i checked the processing time and there is only 3140 files between these which should be finished by mid of Nov-2014 and my spouse file.
it tooks me 10 months to get mine and it seemd that she will received it Max by mid of Dec-2014.

seems that there are faster now, hope that they will be fast in the federal precess.

regards.

Luckykumar I think you are asking to me .......

I fiilled my application myself not from conseltency and I resend the form before file is opened

Man...this is taking too long.

I filed an application for the CSQ in April 2013. As I filed it under the Quebec Experience Class program, I benefited from the 20 business day SLA and so received the CSQ in May 2013.

I then proceeded to file an application with the federal government, to be processes in Singapore. Yah, I left Quebec for a job in South East Asia.
CIC has acknowledged receipt of my application on the 4 November 2013. As you probably figured, it will be one year since the receipt of application in a week's time.

No news, no request for medicals so far. Previous performances suggests that it takes 18 months to process 80% of applications at the Singapore office.

I find the wait exceptionally excruciating....largely because the wait for the CSQ was so short, while the federal part will take more than a year.

Anybody in a similar situation?
