Dear Brilliant,

There are three steps for the QSW application process, in 1st stage cut off score is 50 with the spouse/ child and 42 for individual applicant. In 2nd stage you need 57 with the spouse/ child and 49 for individual applicant while final stage you need total 63 points with spouse / child and 55 points as individual for getting CSQ (Referred to GPI3)

I hope you understand.
Seniors, it is completely new topic for me. So please put some light on it.

Dear jave

Thanks for the explanation. We have 51 points in the first stage. But totally 56 points before the interview. My question is even with 56 points did quebec officers calculate and charge the fee from credit card and than reject my file because of 1- 2 points missing ?
Dear Brilliant,
at the first stage they charge your credit card if you pass cut off score and open a file for you, and then 2nd stage will come up after a year or two depending on country of residence (in this stage they re-evaluate your points and send you latter to update the file if required) I suggest you to check GPI3 let me know if you do not have,

No refund of fees will be given even if the application is refused. Credit cards are charged during the 1st stage of the application process (Verification of Documents) while your points will be calculated during the 2nd (Preliminary review) and 3rd (Selection review).

Refund can be possible before 2nd stage but if they started preliminary review then there will be no refund.

I am not sure about refund before the 2nd stage because I have not known any applicant who withdrew before the 2nd stage and got their money back. I just stated what is in the MIDI website. Do you know someone who refunded before the 2nd stage of the process?

Is there any 2013 applicant from India who has been Called for Interview for Dec mission??
