For Indians in Forum,

What proof you submited for your experience and also for social security contributions for job exereince in India. I submited the form 16 but I got it in pdf form. Quebce immigration people dont understand that we dont get the tax returns in hard copy as we get here. we always get an online copy with validated pdf signature from employers. It seems immigration dont accept this and I am not sure what else to submit. Since the company I worked also issues the salary slips online ( In this digital age this is common), I could not give original documents as well. I gave original experience letter though.

I read a lot of posts that the applications are being rejected for not giving the documents in the format they wanted. I want to be ready with all before they even ask for them in future.

Thanks a lot
Anand

Hi guys, the 6500 cap is now full. So let's all hope and pray for speedy processing of our files :)

Hi may I ask, what does this mean? My husband and I sent our application in May 2014 and we havent received a file number or whatever now (it's been only three months). Are we included in the 6500??? Or not???

Thank you so much for your help in advance. We are both studying french now, and my husband plans to quit his job and study full time. We need to know if our application is going to be returned to us because they reached 6500.

Sensitive question there my dear but no one can give you an EXACT response. What I think is that if your file was complete and has been with them for about 3 months then you should be getting your AOR from them soon.......except the worse come to the worst, I'm not sure a file like yours for 3 months shall be returned. Sure your file was already checked and your AOR is on the way. I suggest you call them....

Yeah, actually our application arrived in Montreale on May 22, 2014. So it's been about 2 months and three weeks since then.

I'm quite confident that our application is complete. I thought we applied quite fast, as I understand they started the new rules on April 1. I was surprised to find out it filled up so fast. My husband plans to start his French class on September, full time on weekdays, intensive course, as we are very determined about moving to quebec. Now, this --we are suddenly not sure about that. Guess we will just have to wait in the coming month.

If they are gonna return the application, they are gonna send it back to us by regular mail right? Then we will know the answer by September.

Thanks again~~!

Team is that true processing time for Quebec is 41 Months.

6 - 7 waiting for file number
18 - 24 Months file processing time
6 - 9 Months Federal processing time
Altogether 40 Months for entire processing.

We have already spend good amount of money in this process. Just for waiting ?

My husband has a co-worker (nurse, filipino) who applied march 2013 and he's going to be interviewed this coming September or October. That's like, one and half year...
40 months, jesus... that's like more than 3 years. Is it really 40 months averagedly? Anyone? Who has such experience?

I'm not really what "Haitian victim" means... You mean the typhoon? They gave fast processing for people who applied during the typhoon?

My husband is also a nurse, the principal applicant. And me, I'm Chinese. Do u know if couples with different nationalities are going to wait for a longer time?

Our points together, it's only like 2 or 3 points away from being exempted from an interview. But we cant hope for that u know, we are still gonna study french really hard... :( and French is so hard..

Ya Typhoon victims had the exemption that's y those who applied in 2013 were handled this year,But others fall under normal time.
While u both being nurses you can expect ur update bit quicker ,of course within 40 months .But nobody couldn't exactly predict with this QUebec process.
I guess both China and Philipines has almost similar processing time,so I don't think it's gonna make a big difference here.
French needs more attention then u will be able to grasp it ..

I see... No, his co-worker who applied in 2013 was not affected by the Typhoon at all... He's from the philippines, but he does not reside in the area that the typhoon hit.. And i'm not a nurse.. :( Nonetheless, 40 months is an awfully long time for waiting. :( Now i hope we would have applied FSW. We cant apply for both FSW and CSQ... sigh sigh....

Hi Jenalby,
Thanks for the Info. I had given W2 forms for my US tax returns and Form 16 ( Given by the employer) for India tax returns. What documents should I get for India now? Is there any way I could get them from Taxation department? They given me 90 days to reply to this request of documents.

Thanks for your reply.
