Dear im4canada

you are right i think that they are "chootias" and they are making some of the people too.
But i noted that due to some of us "chootias" they are succesful.
If they werenot than they shouldnot ask for new forms again.

regards
Dear Darshmodi,
I am also April 2011 applicant and I received a letter to update my file in which they asked only certified copies of transcripts, which i didn't send at the time of my application (I send only photocopies not attested). Secondly I also send my French result as I am B2 + B2 for getting 5+5 points.

why you would like to Leave Australia !!!!!!!!!
[/quote

Do you still intend to settle in Quebec? and y would want to leave Australia? :o

Well as I mentioned on my previous posts I had applied to Australian PR and Quebec roughly the same time. I have received Aus PR only recently.
I am a resident of India and I have not yet migrated to Australia yet but I do intend to migrate during Sept/Oct this year.
Strictly speaking I do not know which is better of the two but want to try out both and eventually settle down in either Aus or Can.

I have checked out many posts and both these countries are highly livable but ofcourse they have there pros and cons. Just exploring my options, but if you guys have things to add you are always welcome!!!

For Middle East applicants, from which authority should we get the legality certificate. What should be the message/draft in that certificate?
Which certificate you are talking about? if you are talking about your educational certificate then they must attest from issuing authority and other documents can be certified by your embassy and some certificate can be attested by Notary Public.

Hope this information will be beneficial for you.

Hello to all seniors in the house,

Could one of you enlightened souls please confirm if this piece of info I have is correct?

This regarding the financials & proof of funds.

The principal applicant without a spouse and without any accompanying children should have funds equivalent to 2956 CAD to satisfy the CIC and successfully obtain CSQ. (Source: Form A-0522-OA Contract of financial self-sufficiency). Is this correct? Please confirm.

I recall having read a few threads where people stated that one needs funds equivalent to 11k CAD for obtaining permanant residency permit.

Are these 2 different things & are both of them true? (i.e $2956 for CSQ stage & $ 11k at the time of application of Permanant residency )
Any inputs/ reasoning and clarifications are welcome.

Thanks :)

Those are different.. For CSQ you only need to fill and send the contract of financial self-sufficiency. There is not even the need to send bank statements or financial information.

The 11k requirement you are referring is for FSW. A different program.

Just fill the contract with the required amounts for CSQ and that should take care of it.

I think I already answered your post in a different entry, however my advice is to calculate your points. First follow this link for the "Grille Synthese d' evaluation" http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/fr/divers/Grille-synthese.pdf this is from the oficial Québec Immigration Website.

Then, about English and French even if you are a native speaker you have to submit official tests. If you want to claim points for English you must submit IELTS Test results (no TOEFL no universities certificates are accepted ONLY IELTS). For french is the same you have to submit official tests if you want points, a letter saying that you speak french wont do anything for you. You have to take either TEF, TEFAQ, TCF, TCFQ DELF OR DALF with a B2 score minimum to get points. and you have to send original certifacates or diplomas otherwise it will be returned to you.

I recommend you to calculate your point first, if you have enough (57 for a couple) you can skip french and english but make an effort to get the official diplomas.
