Hi frnds,
I am new to this forum,
I have applied for QSW in december but my application came back due to delf certificate as original was not submitted so i submitted the original in jan to hongkong and it was sent to montreal which was sent on 2nd feb. Since then i havent heard anything abt my application. Pls tell me how long do they take inform and whats AOR??? also the demand draft issued with the application was valid for only 3 months however nothing is written on DD so will it get accepted if payable in Canada.
Pls frnds any answers to above questions are welcome. I am feeling bit nervous now as havent heard from montreal. Pls guide me.

Jan is only two months ! it may take up to 6 months, and if they were enough kind with you they will keep the application and ask you to renew the Check, other wise they will resend the application, but they didn't make that with me but they made t with many people ..

I am Going to have my interview for csq in may i have prepared all my docs but only one document is difficult to get in my country and that document is Contribution to the national insurance to prove the job is legal i dont know what to do but i have pay slip from my company and my business card is that can be enough to convince the officer ?? and if not plz guide me if you have had a similar position

I think iit is Important bro .. bring it or they will give you 60 days to bring it after Interview.

AOT accounting degree earn 9 years ago
MBA degree earned 4 years ago
Work experience- 8 years as operations manager in a bank
Age 33
2 kids of ages 3 and 1 year old
Wife's age is 33
Wife's area of training is economics and statistics
Wife education B.sc economics and statistics
My ielts scores are listening 7 and speaking 7.5
Financially capable

I have arrived at the following scores
MBA 12 points, AOT 6 , work experience 8 points, age 16, language English only 5 no points claimed for French ,am in French school currently hope to update my file when I take tefaq , 2 kids 8 points, wife's education 3, wife's age 3 ,financial 1 point. This is how i arrived at 62 points . Do you think am ready? Am about to mail out to quebec!!!!!!!!!

i submitted mine in august 2012 in hongkong and it's been 7 months already and no news...they said that it will take 6 months to get AOR...i'm getting frustrated...

It looks about right, children give a lot of points, too bad for us single applicants hehe.

Has anybody submitted IN PERSON the request to evaluate their foreign credentials by MICC? Please advise whether they return the diplomas the same day after scanning them or we have to leave all docs for 6 months with them???

Now when will I have acknowledgment or answer by Quebec authorities? in nut shell what would be the next step or process?

Overall, 47, you'll need at least 49 points for them to open your file, if you fail to do so, they will send back your application.

Please note that the Ministère is applying new rules for the intake of applications for the Québec Selection Certificate (CSQ). From now on, several verifications will have to be done before a file can be opened. In this context, the Ministère has suspended its 30-day commitment to send a letter confirming that a new file has been opened.

If your file meets the conditions for submitting an application, a letter confirming that your file has been opened will be sent to you within 4 to 6 months.

Well, it's amazing!!! Have you received AOR after only 4 days? I thought that it should take 4-6 months to be able to get AOR. What is your AOT? Are you in Quebec at the moment?

I sent my application January 2013 and I know I have a long time to wait, but I hope I can get an interview waiver since our joint points are around 62.
You recieved your csq in 3 months only, so may I ask you what was special about your application?
