If I had not followed-up, I would not have known that my papers have already been forwarded to Montreal in January. I'll have to wait for a month and if I have not received any notice from Montreal, I'll send an e-mail. This is really so long. I sent my papers August 2012 to BIQ Hongkong, not received AOR and only to find out that my papers were sent to Montreal for processing. FYI.

i have send application for quebec skilled worker category. i filed my application on 30th august and it was received at hongkong visa office at 6th september , but i have yet not received my receipt number. What maximum time will it take to receive my receipt number?

I think you will receive it with in 4 to 6 weeks usually it takes 1 to 8 months to get AOR!

They said "We don't reply to particular emails and said to check website..."

Total 47, you need at least 49 points for them to accept your application, try to get a better score in French.

Anybody knows that BIQ, hongkong has stopped the proessing of application that were submitted in 2011?

No update, no interview schedule.. ANy body knows what happened. We have lost our money in application, french exam.. Strange !!

Hi,

You have to be patient it can't happen by the way it's a government plan and they will do what they have to at any stage and by the way they are not begging anyone to come and apply.

If you have applied and paid the fees, that's your call and we all can just wait and improve our files rather than commenting on their pace!!!
