Hi Ousama,

Do you mean that UAE CSQ holders will process their federal application in london office instead of Abu Dhabi? how can you confirm this? any link?

if that is true, we (UAE quebec applicants) dont have to wait for 33 months as per the processing time of Abu Dhabi says... we will have only to wait for 12 months as per london office timing...

I am not sure why there is a difference of 6 months between those 2 sites... it is only an estimation i think...so let's consider the worst case scenario (12 months)

Awaiting your update

Hi Amirjs,
My understanding as per these links was that our federal applications will be processed from London office, but I just got a feedback from my consultant saying it will Abu Dhabi office which means longer time ???

Hello,
Have you filled an application or not yet ?
You have to know that you will need to have your credentials assessed and waived by doing some exams to practice Nursing.
Also, I am not sure if the minimum wage in Quebec is 10 $ now, I think it is a bit higher.
Anyways the minimum wage is hard to live at, as there will be around 20 % Tax ( income Tax ).
If you are gonna work at the minimum wage with a partner, then this may help, as one salrty will be dedicated for renting and its utilities.
You can find a shared room with someone at 500 $, for a suite, this will be around 900 $
Suite means legal partition of a house to rent.
Other options will be around 1300 $ and more.

hello signalmaker!

Thanks so much for the response i really appreciated it.

Actually di pa ako nag aaply. I plan this month pa. I have a question I have 1 year volunteer experience now and currently still working as volunteer nurse. I graduated last April 2010. sabi nila counted din yung RLE daw. is it really true?? cos i really want to apply but i am afraid of risking my money. am i qualified? i am 23 years old too.

News

The selection of skilled workers will be transferred from the Bureau d'immigration du Québec in Hong Kong to our offices in Montréal

The Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles wishes to inform its clientele that as of April 1, 2013, the selection of skilled workers will be officially transferred from the Bureau d'immigration du Québec in Hong Kong to our offices in Montréal.

In the meantime, any new immigration application submitted under the skilled worker program must be sent to our offices in Montréal as of January 1, 2013.

The Ministère would like to reassure its clientele that it will continue to pursue its activities in Asia and Oceania with the same due diligence. When necessary, selection interviews conducted by the Ministère with immigration candidates from Asia or Oceania will be held at the locations designated for this purpose in the territories concerned.

No changes for other immigration categories

This change will not have any effect on files in the businesspeople sub-category; these files will continue to be processed in Hong Kong. This change will also have no effect on the family sub-category since, for several years now, the processing of these files for all territories across all continents has been done entirely by mail, from our offices in Montréal.

Umer,
Bonne année 2013.

How r u & ur family? Wish your family the greetings of this New Year too.
According to the above reference news, what do you think, where is our interview scheduled? HK / Own Country / Montreal?

Hello Friends..

New processing time table is updated on 28-Dec-2012.
There is no interview for any country which is operated by BI-Hongkong

Guys time depends on your AOR number if your AOR number start with HA then your time as per Hongkong.

Oh ok thanks. :) yeah mine is technically from paris. I live in england and was supposed to send my application to paris but they closed biq paris down and so I had to send my application to montreal instead.

Hi!I also sent my application to Montreal after BIQ PARIS stopped receiving application. My individual reference number starts with just letter "C" and seven other figures.I wonder what the letter 'C' stands for.I am from Africa.

According to the AOR prefixes, what does VA stand for? Application submitted at Montréal's office.

hi dears
what about me. i have submitted my application to BIQ Hongkong on 30/12/2012 and it has received by that office on 02/01/2013. i did not notice that from 1st of January/2013 BIQ Hongkong will not accept any new application for processing..

What may be happend when my CSW application is reached at BIQ Hongkong on 2nd January/2013.. Is it send to Montreal or returned to me for a new submission...........
Pls comments.. i am in high tension..........
regards to all of dears..
