it looks like it is before now..if you dont fall in one of the area of training, they will simply return your package and fee...

Does it mean, AOR can't be granted unless AOT does not meet specified criteria?

If you AOT does not meet the specified criteria your application will be returned with your cheque too.
In previous posts you may see Nevillek has a similiar experience, unfortunatelly.
So if you receive AOR means you meet these criteria

Guys - I need to double check this.
What receiving an AOR indicates?

if They are now only accepting applications from area of training that gets 6,12 and 16 points. does receiving an AOR mean that my study falls into one of these categories?

in other words - do they check my eligibility to apply before sending the AOR or after?

this is very important for me to clarify. your input gents!
I hope some one will not ask for a translation of this, as we all intend to be true Quebecers in future.

Hello TJ CAN,
1) Yes, you must send CV, mine was English as all other docs.
2)I have applied under AOT U024, and I have filled a form for Regulated profession.
3)I have not put any lable in french and no cover letter attached.

I have already received first AOR so I guess is OK.

Hi all,

Please just a question. As an accountant, do I need to fill form for requlated profession or is just for Certified/Chartered Accountant?

@fiirm
I STRONGLY advice you fill the form unless you are not willing to practice as an Accountant in Quebec.It is not a question of being a Chartered Accountant or not but Satistying their requirement . Hope my comment helps.

@Biolah

Thanks so much, actually am just asking to know if one can work in Quebec as an accountant or accounting technician without registering as a regulated profession.

Am awaiting interview call, I submitted my application last year.

i have a question.

I can't get a letter from my employer stating my roles and responsibilities as i want to keep this information of applying to quebec confidential (They wont encourage these). So it is okay if i can mention roles and responsibilities on a bond paper and get it notarized ?

Suggest if this is fine or there any other alternatives ?
