Hi All,

I am trying to calculate my score for Quebec immigration, and I have a question about points scored for age. Currently I am 36 years old (born in the summer of 1976), so currently I would get 14 points for that. If I submit my application say in January, 2013, how many points will I get? Is it the date of AOR that counts, or the date of processing / evaluating my application? Is there a chance I could loose points just by a delay of processing, if I turn 37 next summer?

Thank you,

oszi

Luck accompanies with that people who make efforts. This situation could be avoided, if person knows the language of that country.

This is the BIG Question that i have been thinking about all last month, would i cope with people AND find a Jod if i dont speak well french ? my Level is exactly A2, and i have studied french in School, but i am 3o now and i forgot so much of it.

on the other hand, my wife is taking extensive courses of English for the next 1-2 years, as her work was not in English for the last 6 years.

So .. i am realy concerned with this issue and subject !

Please keep us updated with what do you think about it !

Cheers !

Where do you live and work now ? You are so confident that you gonna be accepted by quebec ! Do you know French ? Do not worry about finding job if you know french. Yes you should stay in quebec for 3 years as you will sign on paper that you will stay there after getting nationality you can go whereever you want
