I'm new to the forum and I've posted the below one as a new topic and didn't find any reply's so re-posting the same under this thread...

I'm from India and I've submitted CSQ application BIQ-Hong Kong last year and got AOR on 23-Nov-2011. I've sufficient points and I've completed DELF A1 very recently and my application has been launched via a consultant and not yet got any update on the CSQ interview. Any idea on this delay? Meantime any chance of getting an interview waiver?. We are a family of three, myself and wife are working IT professionals for last couple of years. I've masters in Comp Science and my wife has Bachelor's in Comp Science. I've 8 yrs and my wife has 4 yrs of experience in IT.

Hello kuro_shio, that is indeed your AOR and the confirmation that your file has been opened would you please tell us from which BIQ is it?
I received the same email in July but have not yet received (and may not receive) a physical letter for it.

Welcome to the forum, the timelines for interview varies with the VO and on the average it has been estimated to about 12 to 18 months. A number of posts in the past would give you an insight into your question and even more.

Accomplished and finished Caregiver studies.

Had incomplete MBA units taken.

wooooow!!! that was sooooooo faaasssst!! some nurses even had their interview invitation for almost a year nowadays, but yours is so amasing. not under priority but you received your interview in 9 months. some also here are accountants but had their interview invitation in one year and 8 months, you must be very very lucky! are you married with kids? by the way, you applied under what NOC code? my guess is that the officer have interpreted your diploma to be a double major, management and the other one accoounting. be happy your so lucky! congrats. btw, have'nt you received first a mail from BIQ HK that you are waitlisted for interview? other than this schedule for interview?

Eh, I figured it was Mexico, being that they seem to be taking a very short time to open the file (a week or less) and that I myself sent to BIQ Mexico A little detail is that my email has a different format because of the payment form I think, doesnt mention anything about a Credit Card (because I didnt use one) but also doesnt mention anything about the 10 months delay, instead they dont mention any delay at all.. they just tell me to wait.

also after getting visa then can i go to any other province of canada to settle instead of Quebec?
