Dear Buddy Mkshah

Need HELP and OPINIONS badly:

SITUATION:

My friend has applied for the FSW on July 2010 with a Certified Description as a Emergency Room Nurse. The application was accepted to be processed by the CIO and got his reference number for his application. Meanwhile, upon computation, he is lacking 2 points inorder to have 67 points. He tried to take the IELTS examination but got 6.5 on the Listening sub-test.

He wrote his letter to the CIO stating that he wanted to refund his payment and to withdraw his application. His application was sent back to him and the payment was refunded.

On the August 2011, he applied again for FSW having a Certified Job Description as Emergency Room Nurse but the quota has reached it cap thus, his application was sent back again to him.

Presently, he submitted his application for QSW but he got His Certified Job Description was changed from EMERGENCY ROOM NURSE that has been accepted on his first application to FSW to SCHOOL NURSE.

Would that be possible?

Changing your Certified Job Description? Aren't the Canadian Immigration kept their copies of the application that was accepted for processing even if they are withdrawn?

What if his application was accepted by the QSW will it provide problem along the process?

Thank you for your HELP and OPINIONS in advance, he keeps on asking me but I personally don't know what to tell him.

Hi, NOC codes have been updated and new NOC list NOC 2011 is now effective.
Pls check below link:

www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/NewNOC.aspx

So, because of this change in NOC codes, your friend might have got different Certified Job Description when he filed his application for qsw, since your friend may have mentioned NOC code as per old list, which may corresponds to some other CJD in new NOC 2011 list.

Say for ex. My NOC code as old list is 4131 which is now 4021 as per this new list NOC 2011.

Hi Friends....
Having Big Problem...Please Help....

I Have done BSc. Chemistry (12+3). In new rules it is specified as below.
"You or your accompanying spouse hold a diploma awarded by a teaching institution in an area of training allowing you to get 12 or 16 points under the area of training criterion of the selection grid for skilled workers (see list, in French, 35 kb). The number of years of study required to obtain your diploma must be at least equal to the number of years required to obtain that diploma in Québec. "

So for University Degree in Chemistry in Quebec requires 16 years.. So now I will not be eligible?

Please help......

Hello Friend
What they (QUEBEC) means by 16 years equivalent is that, all your academic studies must have add up to 16 years in total by the time you recieved your degree in Chemistry.

I hope this HELP

You are good to go, because chemistry degree in Quebec is also of three years.

Check this link

Can anyone confirm me if the client ID number in the e-CAS system is the same as the client ID number in my work-permit document. Or do they provide a different client ID number for PR application?

Hey guys,

There is a small correction, your degree is in high demand AOT and can give you 12 points, below link superseded other lists which is going to be implemented by 20th of March 2012 after approval from National Assembly (chemistry in French called "chimie"), if this will be rejected from NA then badalpharm link is a valid link

Actually i don't know much abt quebec immigration , i had planned to apply long time was short of some 13 points . Thank you so much for your help mk shah . so this list would change in jan2013 . Then i can apply for Quebec immigration and would give just 12 points.
