hi guys,

@ vibez_well

thanks a lot, that'll be fine. :) Long way to go.

@ cdv222

well, i have applied last year november, as you can see, and i received the aor in february, so, i've thought they're are happy with what they've got, and i've thought they are already working on it, but in May (3 months later) they've sent me a letter, telling me there are missing documents, and i've got 60days to get them, or my file will be closed. so, i needed about 50days to get the missing doc's from germany to canada, and let them translate....all this was lost time. I send the missing doc's about mid july, and, as stated in their letter, it will be processed within 30days after receiving the package, which was true, i got the appointment via EMAIL the 2nd august for the 20.September. So, the actual CSQ i received the 11.October, even if I was told to receive in the next 5days, in the end, it was 3 weeks. (and printed 1 week before that, according to the letter date)
i've lost 3 months i guess, thinking they are happy with what they got, and thinking, they sent me the AOR, so , they had what they needed. as you can see.... :)

Damn, something has to go wrong all the time - I've sent an email to BIQ Vienna on Feb 14th (the first day with no service) and also resend all info by regular mail on March 5th, do you think I should send it now to Montreal office?

Dear Stngr,

The news item says that Montreal office starts operating from April, 1
I think there is still mail going "non-stop" to Vienna office, and the office should be loyal to those who get to know news later..
besides there is also a fact of timing that regular mails take. I think they will resend all received mail to Montreal office or send it back to you with "address does not exist" mark or something like that :)

Cheers,
Tanya

Thanks Taynya, not quite sure, cause if you want to sent a question form you'll get redirected to damascus office (!)
Plus news says the Vienna office offers no service starting Feb 14th
Hate this mess, we should get CSQ as a reward for dealin with that ;)

Hey, Stngr

I totally agree with you! I'm ready to travel to the other side of planet to pick it up :)

By the way, The Bureau d'immigration du Québec in Damascus is closing and its activities relocated to Montréal

Seems like there are a lot of people in Montreal eager to work hard? :)

Loks like it, but in that case i have no contact to get any info from - I have intention to reject my file from Feb 6th with 60 days te reply and because of this transition I have no place to send my reply - one is no longer in service, other one is not yet in service

I will send by regular mail this week, I dont like how it goes now...

Hi Everyone,

I applied for CSQ in 02/11 and received my first AOR in 04/11.
I recently received a letter from the montreal office requesting for more documents like one of my previous employer reference letter and visa renewal documents.

I sent it to them last week, how soon do you guys think that they will respond back to me with any decision on my file?

thanks,
Harsheen

@ stngr,
it is better if you check with your courier company, if your parcel is delivered or not.
If yes, then on which date and where and who received it,
If not delivered then recall it,(it will take 5-6 working days) bear the expenses of calling it back. And resend the entire parcel to montreal biq. (it will take more 5-6 days), so you will be able to do it in time of maximum 12-15 days. And I am sure still you have that many days remaining to send them missing documents.
I have posted address of montreal biq in my previous post to TanyaM.

@ stngr,
It is clearly mentioned in TanyaM's below post for applications to be sent after 14th feb 2012 @ montreal office address.
Since you have already sent it on March 1, 2012: first check with courier service if it is delivered or not. If delivered, then you have only one option. That is send an email to vienna biq mentioning all details ur application/documents sent such as
Application sent by which courier, courier tracking number, courier tracking details which you can get from courier website, your details for qsw application such as AOR number, passport number, your full name, country of residence and list of all documents you sent in this courier.
Ask for their guidance in this matter.
send an email immediately.

If your courier is not delivered then you can call it back and send it to montreal address.

Hi nursegio, as far as I know it expires after one year from the date it was issued. so if you don't apply within one year, you will lose it and you have to reapply.
