hi hokaito,
This is quite useful info for all qsw applicants applying from India.
Surely AF-New Delhi and AF-Mumbai arrange for TEF and TCF but not TEFaQ.
I myself have search so much for this info previously when I was confused for which test to take between the two tests: DELF or TEFaQ.
And finally I decided on DELF, because I could not find any test centre in India for TEFaQ.
But thanks anyways, it will be helpful now also..
+1 for you

Apologies as could not be available due to hectic work schedules. This post is for all who intend to appear for TEFaQ examinations in India.
TEFaQ is conducted only in AF Trivandrum if there are a minimum of 4 students available for appearing in the exam. The next schedule is for March. The cost of the examination is around 10,000 INR. The problems are;
a) The cost of the TEFaQ is 10,000 INR. Add to this the flight expenses another 10,000 (return flight from Mumbai - check for local prices from your city). Add to this another 5,000 INR for your accomodation and food for atleast one night (on the higher side). That makes it a total of around 25,000 INR for 2 days. Think about the expense! A DELF A1 & A2 exam will cost only 6,000 INR (if you are appearing as an external student).
b) The results take around 2 months to arrive from Paris if you appear in March, 2012 which means you will get your results by June, 2012. The next exams for DELF are in May, 2012 which means you are only a month behind the TEFaQ exam.
c) The advantage of TEFaQ over DELF is that TEFaQ only has listening and speaking as part of the examination as compared ot listening, reading, writing and speaking for DELF.
That's it for me. I have decided to go with the DELF exams in may as it might prove costly to appear for TEFaQ. Others can decide for themselves for the same. Get in touch with AF Trivandrum at the earliest in case you want to enrol for the March examination schedule.
