Good morning guys,

My name is Jad. I'm from Lebanon. I want to immigrate to Quebec as a Quebec Skilled Worker but I'm somehow lost about what to do. So I have a few questions and any help is really appreciated.

The documents I should prepare to email them altogether are:

- Application for selection Certificate. (Should I write N/A where the question doesn't concern me or just leave it blank??)

- Contract Respecting Financial Self-Sufficiency. (What do u think is the minimum amount I should put if I'm going alone as a skilled worker??)

- TEF/TCF and IELTS official results.

- Fees (Payment by Credit Card application). Is it 406 Canadian Dollars or there is more fees ? If not what is the total amount I should certify to them in the Credit Card attached paper ? what if my CC amount is in US Dollars ?

- Medical Exam from one of the official doctors whose names are in the website. (official translation in English)

- Police Certificate (Official translation in English)

Are these all the documents required ? any document is missing ? Any document of these stated shouldn't be sent ?

What is the address I should write on the Envelope to send it for Quebec Immigration ?

Any help is really appreciated.

Best Regards to all. I hope to hear from you really soon coz i need to start ! :-X

Go to this thread to get some information

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.html

These 2 documents are not asked when you first apply for qualification. They are asked at the Federal Application at the second phase.

- Medical Exam from one of the official doctors whose names are in the website. (official translation in English)
- Police Certificate (Official translation in English)

Don't worry you will find a lot of information here, in the same time explorer a little the link i just gave you.

Take care...

hi devang3d,
Congratulations buddy! It is nice to see u scoring high% in A2. :)
If u dont mind, just I was curious to know why you attempted A2 thrice..... :)
I know a person can take any DELF exam, any number of times he wishes, but as you mentioned here in ur post, u scored really well 84% in first time, so I was just wondering when u mentioned that u taken A2 second time.
Should not u have taken higher level exam next time?

@ Really

I gave Delf A2 in Feb-2011..and i scored with 84 %.
Then i took exam for Delf A2 in may-2011...but at that time i cant pass it, say truly..
Then again i appeared in August-2011 and i was cleared delf a2 with 75%..
So i can say, its depends on our hardwork...i prepared well in august than compared to May.

Hello Guys,

First of all, I would like to thank all of you participating in this forum. The newbies of the Canadian immigration system, like me, learn a lot from this forum.

I recently had this desire to immigrate to Quebec (fell in love with it while visiting a few times). So basically now I am still at the very beginning of the process and would like get some recommendations or advices from anyone willing to give some. Here what my profile looks like:

Education: Associate degree, Bachelor in Physics, Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (all obtained in the US)
Experience: +1 year at a state level office in the US
Language: I am a Native French Speaker and Fluent in English as all my university degrees have been obtained in the US. (Any Test Required for me??)
Age: between 21 and 49 (26 to be exact).

Spouse: Completing her bachelor in Nursing in May 2012, she has some experience as Nursing Assistant (PT during school and FT during school breaks and summers for the past 2 years), only speaks English, and age is between 21 and 49.

Dependents: 2 dependents under the age of 12.

The online self-assessment tool gave me a score above the required score but I wanted to get some insights from you guys on my chances and processing timeline before starting any paperwork.

Any advices or comments are welcomed.

Thanks in advance and Happy new year to you all.

can u pls send me the link of The online self-assessment tool....

thanx
