after landing, and obtaining the PR-card, the PA may wish to travel out of canada for several reasons without putting the dependants in danger provided he has made provisions for his/herv dependants welfare before leaving. in such a case, the dependant can become a citizen bfore the PA. cases abound of PAs who immediately after getting their PR-card, they headback to thier native country either bcos they have a good job there or to monitor their bisiness. such pple do send money to their dependants to upkeep so as to prevent them from relying on Govt welfare. it is when a PA neglects his/her family to the extent that they are now defend on govt, it is at such point that problems can arise. in the absence of this, all is well. all the PA just need to his that he comes to canada to spend his vacation and in this way he is servicing his visashootingstar said:thanks, +1 to you.
Yes, i am aware of the landing rule. I'm talking about the time after landing and living in QC for a few weeks or months. What if I stay alone without the PA? will that period count toward my time spent in canada?
+1 to you ..thanks egrace for the detailed reply. So we should just make sure thatwe are not dependent on the Govt for monetary reasons and can somehow survive there.egrace62 said:after landing, and obtaining the PR-card, the PA may wish to travel out of canada for several reasons without putting the dependants in danger provided he has made provisions for his/herv dependants welfare before leaving. in such a case, the dependant can become a citizen bfore the PA. cases abound of PAs who immediately after getting their PR-card, they headback to thier native country either bcos they have a good job there or to monitor their bisiness. such pple do send money to their dependants to upkeep so as to prevent them from relying on Govt welfare. it is when a PA neglects his/her family to the extent that they are now defend on govt, it is at such point that problems can arise. in the absence of this, all is well. all the PA just need to his that he comes to canada to spend his vacation and in this way he is servicing his visa

So when the PA comes back to canada, his number of days spent in canada will be different from the spouse isn't it yeah true? so citizenship can happen earlier for the spouse(dependent) if he/she wants that to happen first? true. u all are now different and distinct that is why the whole family was not issued just one visa in the first place . each family member has his/her own visa, hence which one determines his one destiny
not necessarily the institution. the notary public are there for u to visit. notary public are legally empowered to certify document and they are fast. and from experience, i will suggest u use a notary public or court to certify ur documents. cos i know a friend who has asked an institution which manages his social security contribution to stamp a copy of his monthly contributions which they did. but to his chagrin, BIQ-Paris requested after opening his file that he should submit another copy of his social security contribution certified by a court or notary public. well i cant say if such will only happen at BIQ-paris or its every where. but i know u can never go wrong with a notary/court...OsamaR said:Hi seniors,
In the list of documents (section 6): http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/biq/damascus/dcs-workers/list-documents.html it says that:
I need to submit the copies of our diplomas and certificates certified as true to the originals by the issuing educational institutions
Can I submit normal copies until I receive the certified copies from the universities ? This way I can save some time.. because this might take around a month or two.
Also, for which grade of school have you guys submitted the same documents ?
Thanks...
Thanks a lot egrace62 for the feedback..egrace62 said:not necessarily the institution. the notary public are there for u to visit. notary public are legally empowered to certify document and they are fast. and from experience, i will suggest u use a notary public or court to certify ur documents. cos i know a friend who has asked an institution which manages his social security contribution to stamp a copy of his monthly contributions which they did. but to his chagrin, BIQ-Paris requested after opening his file that he should submit another copy of his social security contribution certified by a court or notary public. well i cant say if such will only happen at BIQ-paris or its every where. but i know u can never go wrong with a notary/court...

8 for the work experience - normal bachelor degree in CS scores 10 but I am not sure about 4 years. I guess if it is sixteen years of eduction in CS then you might get 12 points for that. Keep waiting someone will guide you about that. Thanksalinamyob said:nobody is in the house..
Osame, I agree here with egrace. I did the same. Does your transcript not already have the university/college stamp on it? I think that's what usually a transcipt does.OsamaR said:Thanks a lot egrace62 for the feedback..
