I have already started working on the police certificates, so that will be done quickly, so all I have to really work on is the medical forms, other things are ready anyways!! So, at this point, waiting is the best I can do

yeah attimes they conduct interview in Newyork provided the number of applicants to be interviewd is much to be able to sustain the cost of sending officer(s) there for the interview..... their were times last year when the office was locked but either way congrats

BTw, it is not only the cSq that u will need to submit, other things like police report, notarized birth certificate, federal form etc are still needed....... u can get all these done since it has been confirmed u will be issued the csq rather than waiting to get the csq b4 doing all these thareby wasting time.....

My BIQ is Hongkong one, and as i read on their website they asked applicants to fill the MM0008 which is, as we all know, for Federal step
can you please tell me why should submit it now at the very first step? and why only Hongkong BIQ asked for this?

Hi guys,

just wanted to give some Intel from my side.

Had my CSQ-Interview this week Tuesday, 20.Sept.. Have been approved and I am supposed to receive my CSQ via Post by next week.

It lasted about 1 hour, nothing particular, i studied well, but nothing special anyway, a smooth conversation, 95% in French obviously. No IELTS needed in my case.

Anyway, I am about to fill the forms for the federal part. It'll be tough in my case, i traveled a lot and
need PC's from 5 different Countries... :'( : and now i have to complete my personal history and all the addresses I've lived from the age 18. (I'm 31) ???

If anyone has questions, ask me, but i'm not sure whether i can answer them. (yet)

Important: For the interview definitely bring all the ORIGINAL documents ! I had a Certified (!!!) Copy from a Notary, which obviously is certified, (self-explaining) but she insisted on the Original!! Lucky me that I didn't need to spend 150$ for a notary to get (more) things Certified, and they still want the original... well,...whatever...who knows...

Just interested whats written in the CSQ letter, if its just the letter, or other instructions how to proceed. I'm german, currently working (on a permit) in Montreal and applying from inside Canada. Anyone has got any idea where to send the Federal Part Forms if you apply from inside Canada?

Now, My photo is having white background behind my face, but
my spouse(wife)'s photo is having color background behind her face in photo. so will it make any difference???

for all those members, who are asking for points breakup, frankly speaking im not sure about my points as initially they refused me on the points that I claimed, but later on they called me for interview. the points breakup that I got in the refusal letter was as follow:

level of schooling: 10/12 (as I have a masters degree)
Area of training: 0/16 (i have a chemistry degree, which should be awarded 12 points but they gave 0)
work experience: 4/8 (i had more than 48 months of expeirience, but they gave me 4)
Age: 16/16
french: 0/16 (i dint claim any points)
english: 6/6
stay in quebec: 0/5
family in quebec: 0/3
employment offer: 0/10
children: 0/8
financial self sufficiency: 1/1

now its upto you what you conclude out of it

just follow the white bacground.. As specified by a passport photo.. Playing safe Will save you from worries and money if ever ur application Will be returned just because of a single photo
