@ quebec , @ egrace.
Finally I got a reply from BIQ HK, rather a bad news and I did not make the cut... But anyway it is fine.
Here are the details for others to know. So that you can have approximate estimate. Good Advice
Education - 10 ( ELectronics & communication Engineering)
age - 16
experience - 4 ( though I have more than 10 years of experience- I took a break to take care of my family business and started working for the past 2.5 years). perhaps u were not able to sufficiently support the 2.5yrs of experience. hence u need to adress this in ur reply to the PERM 401 that u av been served
english - 6/6
french - 2/16( since I completed only A1 while applying , now I have A2)
Spouse (education) - 2
spouse (age ) - 3
brother in canada - 0 ( I am yet to send additional document) u should note that the following categories of family members will not b able to earn u points: Uncle,Aunt, Nephew & Niece only father, mother, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother can earn point. so for ur brother u will need sufficient documentation, call him so that he can send u a letter where he ll attest to the fact that he is ur brother as well as proof of his legal status in Quebec, certified copies of: landing record, PR-card/citizenship card, tax clearance etc. if both of u share the same surname, it ll make the whole thing go on fast
Son - 4
finance - 1
Total 48,
I have to score 57 - since I need to respond within 60 days .. I already have A2 with me. So I can get 4 more points, and another 3 points for my brother in canada.
so I am running short of 2 points. With the situation unless my wife clears A1 I cannot make the cut.
However I am planning to send the required documents,, and current working last pay stub. Let me keep my fingers crossed.dont keep ur fingers crossed. u av got work to do. u need those hands & fingers to work :-[
NOTE
1) will ur wife be able to clear A1? i will suggest that u also prepare to take B1 while ur wife A1. but since DELF result cannot come out within the 60days u av been given, i will suggest u take TEFAQ cos their result ll b sent directly to MICC. hence clearing u of any fault of not sending in the result within d stipulated time.
2) as per the 2.5yrs experience that was underscored. include a cover letter whre u ll state the score u ought to av been awarded. kindly ask them to review it. include fresh work documentation to support the 2.5yrs eerience that u wrote in d form
