Hi all,

Am new to this forum and just have a question, do you think quebec immigration actually calls the employers to verify employment? Does anyone know or heard of something like this?

Nice to hear from you , are u good at french or you are learning it whatever the state is but at time of of interview you should be good at it. you should be able to respond the visa officer in french. i wish u all the best... in timeline there is difference of one year , i applied in 2009 and you applied last year means 2010. isn't it.

thanks shahbaz, but the question remains the same, is your interview scheduled in Hong Kong??

Hey TeamQuebec
Wonder in what context you are asking this question. is it regarding the question 15. in the appl. form

I guess it is safe to assume that whatever you declare in the forms, should either be backed by proof or be sure of passing their scrutiny. If not, there is a good chance of you being asked to furnish additional proof or ur appl getting rejected.

Myroyce ! thats really cool. but sorry, I'm not very sure about what the numbers mean. But I've come across posts from other members mentioning that '130' stands for Priority processing.

I think it's pretty unlikely, but I think I heard of one person being checked on before. That was probably an exception though; when you send your application, you should also send letters from your employers and pay stubs (Copies), so I think they take that as proof. It would be too time consuming to check up on employers, I would imagine.

hello guys, need some proffessional help, im submitting all my ORIGINAL documents. do I need to have it notarized even if they are all original copies? thank you so much.. :)

For sure you have to translate them in english or french if they are written in your country language and also noterize them because thet is a proof from a lawer that all that it is written in your lang. is same as it has been translated.

Good luck

guyz, just a query. do they send interview letter through email or that same ordinary post, through which they sent AOR?

Hey there joidiple !

it is not stated that you need to submit your originals. copies will suffice ! read the site for more details.
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca

take copies and notarize them. Once docs are notarized by a competent authority, it is as good as the original. dont you want the originals for other purposes ? what if it is not returned ?

Incase you still want to submit your originals, there is no need to notarise them.
