My journey started April 2012. Received aor July 2013, document request oct 2013, submitted doc Nov 2013. Followed up on documents April 2014 and received confirmation. Dec 2014 I received email that I am on interview wait list. July 2015 I received an email which stated that interview process would be waived if I submit French language certificate. I responded and informed them that I did not sit a French exam but was taking classes. Another email came in about 2 hours later advising me that I should continue study the language and that they we're uncertain when a mission would come to my country. I was not satisfied because a friend of mine from my country was getting the same email as me expect the one that said not sure when a mission was coming to my country. That friend received telephone interview so being persistent I emailed 2 days after my last email and requested a telephone interview. A response came back the same day that I did not have enough points for a telephone interview and I should continue study for when for mission. Then Sept 3 I came home from work n saw big brown envelope. Before I opened I started to scream before I open because I knew it had to be my csq. Then I open the envelope with hands shaking and all. BAMMMMM.......it was the simplest and most significant document......my CSQ. I had to kneel down and thank God for his mercies#mycsqjourney

I sent my Passport to VRC (Visa Reception Center) .. here in Lebanon, we have this center which delivers visas for couple European countries including Canada .. Although we have a Canadian Embassy, but this is where they listed in the email that I received from them to deliver my passport to.

I applied for csq last june 2014 eventually received my file num from micc last sept 2014 and just recently they emailed me to update my files re my application and i filled up the modification form..does anybody here knows on what step i am into now? Btw i am using a consultancy... Thanks! God bless us all!

What docs did they request you and what docs did u provide them. Can you tell us with the dates like wen u submitted the updated docs. Based on that we can predict the outcome of ur file.

Hey Guyss ..
As an update, I received today a message that my visa is stamped on my passport ;D
So that took ONLY 2 days (although they told me in the VOC that the Visa needs 4 weeks to be ready) .. I delivered my passport to the VOC 2 days ago, and after 2 days it was ready.
I am waiting the mail to deliver my passport with my visa stamped to my house within these couple days ;D
I'm DONE .. the BEST of LUCK for EVERYONE.

The program is not open currently, so unless you are applying under PEQ/have a confirmed job offer, don't post anything anywhere.

Otherwise, when the program reopens, and if paper applications are still accepted (Qc is launching an online application process in October 2015 - apparently, but no details on that yet), you would send your application to the office which deals with your country of residence:
