My name is Maher and I am an accountant. I have applied to immigrate to Quebec in December 2011 through Egypt office since I live in Gaza, Gaza Strip, Palestine.

I lost the hope to immigrate but recently they changed the marks for accountants and I have now 12 marks on the training but I have a problem.

I don't know how to legally prove my experience. In Gaza strip Palestine there is no social insurance payment for the employees in the private sector just for the employees in the public sector also since the civil conflict in 2007 the Tax departments don't work properly.

How can I legally prove my experience for the people in Quebec please help I am desperate for an answer. looking forward for you help.

You just have to write and explain everything in a separate sheet the reasons why you can not provide social insurance documents and tax documents.. Everyone knows what is happening to Gaza nowadays but idea from an expert like immigration consultant is still better.

You can apply even if you have zero knowledge on french but to learn the french language is a must to live prosperously in Quebec.

Test is not mandatory but it's an added value to your profile & you can claim points Incase you get b2 or higher....

yes i had applied in federal skilled worker in 2011 and i got visa in september 2012 and i been in canada for the last two years . I just need this information for my friend who wants to apply for quebec skilled worker immigration so can anyone please help me out.

Dear Friends, I need ur help, i have sent my application in July 2014 and i got confirmation from the courier service that my parcel have reached the Montreal office on 8 th August 2014, however i have not received my AOR or any information from them.

Hi, it happened to me too. I sent my file on July 30th and it was received by BIQ on August 6, however the capped was reached on July 30 not August 6 like they announced in the beginning. In November I got a mail stating that and they suggest me to contact UPS, DHL or FEDEX to get my documents back or else in 10 days they were going to send the file back with regular post, I decided to wait with regular post (NEVER DO THAT) the file never arrived and I contacted BIQ again, they sent me the same mail this month that they sent me on November so I quicky arranged pick up with UPS and thank God I got my documents back, if you haven't got an AOR I strongly suggest you to contact them ASAP to get and answer or your file back so you can be ready for this year.

I am really worried about my French A2 so I went to AllianceFrancaise to take my B1 last week.

I heard that the new rules which give 0 points to A1 A2 B1 have been applied to the people who applied in 2011; is this true?

What about the point system? In 2011, they used the table which gave points based on Master/Bachelor with the pass marks of 67.

The new one was introduced in Aug 2012 with the pass marks of 55 (but seems much more difficult to get any point here).

***Do you know how are we 2011 Applicants gonna be assessed?

they are processing applications as per new rule you must have B2 atleast to get French points as well as IELTS 5 for english points.

I just calculated the total scores. It seems like , under the new point systems, I'd earn about 51-54 points. :-[

If I have a B2 now, I'd definitely get around 60ish ++. but I have only a pending B1. I submitted my documents last week.

Do you know how to get a B2 and then appeal ASAP?

Why they did not notify us in advance?

Can anyone advice? I am planning to write an appealing letter now & I am scheduling my B2 exams with AllianceFrancaise in my neighbor countries.
