According to me they should give you 12 points for Master and
why they have given only 4 points for English Language ??? Did you provide IELTS and if yes with what score ????
secondly if you have completed your master in 2007 how can you show your experience of 8 years ???
Was your master distance learning???
if that was a case in that case you should claim 8 points for experience....

And now the main point which is there in their GPI which is as under


-If the diploma was issued more than five years before the filing of the DCS must
determine whether the candidate has worked for at least one year a profession
directly related to his training with a diploma, that is to say a
profession for which there is a close match according to the
National Occupational Classification (NOC). For example, if a candidate has
a degree in biochemistry there are more than five years but it has the
profession as a chemist, points will be awarded to him because the
Bachelor's degree in biochemistry is related to the profession of chemist (NOC 2112).
The LMI website online Emploi-Québec provides information
the professions (eg, nature of work, main features, conditions
access) and connections between education and occupations by
the NOC. The website Infoway FPT MELS also provides
correspondence between training and vocational secondary
college and technical occupations by the NOC.
-The rule in the previous paragraph for the degree of over
5 years are two exceptions:
-
if the candidate has held a management position (large groups from 01 to 09
as defined in the NOC), or if it was research professor and assistant
research at the university in their area of training, and demonstrates
that he performed duties directly related to their area of
training, the test points will be awarded;


So according to me they have considered your degree under 5 years bcoz you have completed your master in 2007...
If they consider your degree over 5 years you must have got AOT points (According to points table)

And i want to know that how many points you claim for your AOT and how ???

I did not submit ietls, jus letter from my office that means of communication is english.

For my master degree, i was given study leave from my office to go and study and come back, started with my compnay in 2004. (The 8years is up till date).

And my master was awarded June 2008, finish all the work in 2007.
The issue am loking at now is the course MASTERS IN CORPORATE RISK MANAGEMENT, was not fix under any AOT hence no point for master.
I guess they did not consider my master at all, that why i got 10 in Education, and reason for degree to be over five years.

Area of training i claimed 6 using Noc 0122.( i guess) under accounting/ finance


Which likely AOT can use? And Do i need to write or fill form to respond?

You just need to send a letter with all supporting documents if you are having and try to claim 6 points for English language and
even according to my point of view you wont get any point for AOT as i went through 2009 list of AOT but i didnot find....
And claim 12 points for master degree so for language from 4 to 6 and in master degree you cand reach to 12 from 10

so additional 4 points u can get according to me and claim 4 points for your experience so total would be 8

A while back, i called up the BIQ-Montreal and i couldn't believe what the lady told me, She said: "You're verifying the status of your application prematurely Madame. The office received your application last JANUARY 31, 2014 and for your personal information the usual timeline for the opening of your file is 4-6 mos and 2-3 mos for those with priority A.O.T. ( i told her that i send my application last October 6, 2013 and according to the tracking number (receipt) from FedEx (i checked it online) my documents was received in your office and signed for by certain Mr. M Rapill on October 11, 2013 Furthermore, my A.O.T. is under priority processing. but what puzzled me more is the thought of, From October 12, 2013 up to January 30, 2014 where did my application documents go? because their records show that they just received it on January 31, 2014. I called up the FedEx office about the possible delay of my documents but they said, the FedEx online tracking system of my shipment never lies, and also, who is this Mr M. Rapill who received my documents and where did he forwarded my documents after receiving it?

It takes between 4 to 6 months to get the AOR anduntil then you may not be able to confirm d status of ur application. Don't bother yourself too much at d moment. If your documents are intact d AOR will be sent soonest.

To quebec office, however if you are applying through business category you have to apply through HK i believe

AOR acknowledgement of receipt,AOT area of training.yes it may be possible that your interview can be waived off but depend upon your file presentation,AOT,French level .

Think of it this way...

Sure your file has arrived 3 days after you submitted it via Fedex or DHL. It will then enter a systematic approach (with different stages) they have designed to open files. If you have received AOR at an early date, it means your file is good and ready for the next stage of assessment. I've seen lots of people here in the forum who received AOR way after the 6 months they are claiming. Most likely your file needs more time for them to make a decision.
