Hello,
I sent my initial application as a FSW under 0213 NOC on 24th June, and obviously my application wouldn't be considered any more.

I need suggestion regarding QSW. Do I need to send a proof of French language with CSQ. My French knowledge is nil, but I'll start French classes in Oct. I go through the evaluation process, and I qualify even if I select French level 1-2. Learn French and go through TEF will took around 5 or 6 months, and rules can suddenly changes so I don't want to loose this opportunity.
Can anyone suggest me what to do?

Iceberg7 , Shahi please response this.....................

Hello daffodils05..

First I would like to mention that Quebec immigration rules are much more stable than Federal rules, this is simply because they are tailored to fit no more than one province..unlike Federal rules which should compromise the needs/market needs for the whole country.

As for your case..
It's is not essential to provide a proof of french proficiency at the time you apply.
However, it is HIGHLY recommended to sincerely show'em that you are keen to learn/practice/use french language as, eventually, it would be your language for day-to-day activities.

If you could provide your reservation voucher for example, this would be a nice gesture.
In addition, please be aware that upon opening the file you may be called for interview that would probably set to evaluate your language among many other things.

So, go on..don't delay..apply & learn french.

I hope I covered your concerns.

Good luck..

Good luck buddy..

Keep us updated..& of course if you need any assistance.

Oh..by the way..what is your visa office?!

Bonjour mes amis! :) :) :)

Shahi

hey long long conversations without me ;)

@ vicky: bro im fortunately unmarried 8) and as shahi rightly said, family members include wife and kids only. so no need to cross any form, just write NOT APPLICABLE in all such sections.

@ daffodils: well i think if you get the required points after showing some level of french, then you should submit some evidence as well. cuz they will first calculate your points and then call you for interveiw (if req.).

@ vicky again: when are you applying?

Hi

I am in USA. While giving the photo specifications no one is ready to give passport photo as per those specifications. I tried costco, walmart, walgreens etc. Can anyone help me.

Thanks for your help.

Have you tried going to a place where they take photos, like a business specialized? not just a kiosk.
What I did was making them myself, I have a photo printer and photo paper, and I just followed the instructions (sizes) and those were the ones I presented and they took them. But this is just my opinion, let's hear someone else's opinion.

HI amgra.. i have a question for you

did u get a letter prior to your interview..that your in the interview queue..if yes then after how much time after this letter was your interview held??

Regards
Shahi

First I received a letter AOR (Acknowledge of Receipt), and then, two months later or so, as a matter of fact, nothing, just one day I was very busy with work, and the phone rang, "Bonjour, monsieur Alejandro? Je vous appelle de..." OMG, I felt a cold drip on my back...That was my interview. This is my experience here in Mexico.

Well, Great then... Good luck!!...
Thanks

Shahi

well shahi if ur frd have received such letter, it means Pakistani and Indian applicants are also undergoing interveiw ::)

i hope so angel...desperately waiting for the letter though..

Shahi

well angel bro, i have gathered all of my documents and got it authorized from HEC..Today i also went to Alliance Francaise to get myself registered with french langu and will definitely attach this receipt with my application..

I was wondering that i have shown my education during valuation test mark 16 to 18 years column and was infromed as eligible to apply as you know i have MBA with 16 years of education..Do you thin should apply with these 16 to 18 years education info.
"OR"
Should I also show my level of French as i have taken admission in AF islambad..If i mark knowledge of French language what do you think which level should i apply just to get AOR from Quebec initially..
