hello guys,

just wanted to share you that i got an email stating that i am on the waiting list for interview, in addition to a PDF file that i have to sign and send back, that i know well that obtaining CSQ does not guarantee that i find a job in my regulated field ( Engineering ).

i got file number in November 26th 2012.

hope this help you guys ..

and i would to ask you if you know the expected time before they contact me back to decided place and time of interview, and if i should bring my one year old daughter with me.

Hi to all seniors and knowledgeable individual on this thread.....does being Clinical Nurse Instructor counted as job related to Nursing and, will i gain points for that Experience)? somebody told me that it is not counted as Experience because i did not work in the hospital....

My sister has got File reference (AOR) yesterday on email... File was received by them on 27th June 2013...
She had claimed points:
Education: 6 (Bachelor of Computer Application)
Area of Training: 6 (Sciences de l'informatique (BACC. - 3 ans) – Code - U115)
Work experience: 8
Age: 16
English: 4 (L:6.5, S:6.5)a
French: 2 (A1--L:22, S:18)
Spouse Age: 3
Spouse Education: 2
Spouse AOT: 2
Children: 8 (2 children)
Financial Self sufficiency: 1

Total: 58

Moreover she had also sent copies of her reciept of fees of Delf A2 course that she is studying..

We are not sure if they will consider it in new criteria or old. There is nothing written about it in the email about file acceptance..

I sent my file on 10 December 2011. and according to the new law of 1st of august 2013, i would like to review again my chances.
i have passed the Dalf C1 with total score 50 of 100, i was really very lucky to pass it.
my points are:
speaking: 16
listening : 12
reading : 11
writing : 11
so, according to the new rules, how many points i could obtain

well actually i sent it directly to montreal, and my file number starts with DA ..

my AOT is Computer Enginerring which would have 12 points according to new rules, and 6 according to old.

yes it is fast, i thought it would take another year ..

They usually start sending interview invitations 3 months before the schedule..I have a least hope that we will be called for interview this year :'( :'( , since no Asian applicant had received any interview invitation so far as for as my knowledge ??? ??? :-\.

so the wait begins.

i have a question, i have 2 numbers on this letter in the reference part.

Ref Individuelle: starts with PA
Dossier No : starts with PA000......

please which is my file number and what is the other. kinda confused. and by the way the AOR was dated 23rd july with the subject : ouverture de votre dossier de demande de ceritifcate de selection du Quebec.

Dossier No is your case number and the first two letters indicate the visa office where your application is assigned to. If you need to call MICC regarding the status of your application you'll have to provide these numbers. Also, with a file number from now on you can update your application with new documents if you need to claim more points. When you're issued CSQ you'll have the same Dossier and Ref Individuel numbers. You'll use them to create an account if you register for online french learning (francais en ligne) and an employment search for CSQ holders (placement en ligne).
