Stylove said:Hi Sango,
thanks for the info. I am also a cameroonian and interested in entering quebec. i have done the preliminary online evaluation and i am qualified. I am a nurse. I have this question for you. Is it necessary to use an immigration consultant? any advantages over someone who didnt use one?
Pls kindly respond cuz its a step am about to take and won't like to regret anything along the path.
thanks and wa
Most consultants are bloody crooks who aks for high fees but do very little that can be done by yourself. My advice to you is to prepare for TEF (aim at B2 or above) and IELTS,(aim at 7 or above) and once you have the attestations, follow the instructions to fill the forms, pay the correct fees,I think Nurses have priority processing. If you are in Douala then You can meet me so we review your package before posting; contacts 77115637, 97702474

Please someone update me about the general time frame when you receive an acknowledgement after sending the PR file to Canada. My CSQ was rcvd in Mar 2012. After addition of another dependent child in Aug 2012, I send our file to Canada for the PR process in Oct 2012. Yet, there has not been any acknowledgement from there.
Could someone throw some light into it. How much time does it takes? etc.
Master7 said:Your profile looks pretty good and your French level is above average, I think your chances will depend on whether your occupation is on this list:
If your Area Of Training is not listed on that list, you are not able to apply until further notice.
You have more than enough points to apply, however like I said before your occupation MUST be on this list. If it requires a QC diploma then you must have a QC diploma unless otherwise stated. As you can see some occupations do not require a QC diploma and some others do.Router said:Dear Master7,
Although it says my occupation requires a QC diploma, the self-assessment on the provincial immigration office site says that I might be eligible (The stress is on MIGHT I guess)... However I do understand that I cannot apply until March 31st, 2013. What happens after April 1st? What can I foresee?
Thanks in advance, regards,
Router
