A small tornado hit ottawa a couple of days ago, we were home, the speed was around 10km/h. Thousands spent hours without electricity and the damage was mostly trees falling on roofs, one of these incidents happened near our house. Don't worry about it, you'll survive

Were you aware before that a tornado was going to hit Ottawa?

Yes of course. And the speed was 100km/h, sorry for the mistake

hello alinec and thank you for your reply and for other the other members who gave their opinion too ;)

well between montreal /quebec and toronto our plan depends on the time of landing if we land early in june or so we will have couple of months trying to find work before my kid starts school (we don't want to move much cs of him it is enough for him to handle the big move to canada we dont want to stress him more to start school in montreal and after couple of months move him to somewhere else) so if he started school in montreal we will not move before the school year ends so we will apply for the quebec health card meanwhile and we secure the six month obligation of stay for it, we want to settle down permanently but sure the job market plays the big role in our settlement :-X
i agree with you and i was talking wz my husband about living in down town (montreal or toronto) depending where our work will be if we live near our work location will spare us time and money, at least for me (my work), my husband must have a driver license cs of his job.

about your advice : "Rewrite your Resume (i recommend professional writing services it will cost around 1500-250$ and it is worth it)" where i can find a professional writing services?

Hi you have different online ones, i did mine on resumes-canada.org but you also have http://www.resumesolutions.ca/

Be careful on that - my indian friend got rejected for PR card renewal because she was living between Canada and India and the officer found that there is no evidence of her meeting the residency requirement.

Yes that's I know it, these people are cheating, but if they apply new rules its legal

Bill 24 is approved and applied.

You must live in Canada 4 years out of 6 complete (1460 days)

or

Must live 2 years completer + 183 Days ( 6 months) each year of the remaining 4 years ;D

The new rule has not been implemented yet. If you go to CIC web, citizenship calculator states the old rule - 3 years out of 5. It will take some time for new rules to be put in place. Until then, applications will be processed based on old rules.

Dear,
after receiving my CSQ I submitted the federal application last saturday and they received it since 25-09-2014 to Sydney Nova Scotia (my visa office is: Abou Dhabi)
I have some questions
how long it will take to receive the AOR?
how long normally it takes in Abou Dhabi office to get the visa?

my wife she's pregnant and she should deliver end of Feb 2015 or beginning of March 2015
how long it takes to receive the CSQ for the new born ?
does that will delay my federal application and for how long?

Thank you

why do bucharest ask about the recent certificate police with the submittal of the copy of the passport and the remedical? I have already sent them a police certificate from one year and a half

Do they have to make a security check again ? Does any body knows a case that happened similar to my case

No Elio, they ask for a new police certificate to get sure that u did not commit recently any crime. The old one u sent a year ago is not valid anymore, the validity of a police certificate is only 6 months.
