Ive been following this forum since long time, because my cousin waiting his visa like many. I see some people they promised you to share their experience once they land but they never came back.

I landed in 2011 in MONTREAL coming from Italy where I grew up but unfortunately I wasnt lucky to hunt a job in MONTREAL even though I earned masters degree from Mcgill university.

I moved to Ottawa but I wasnt lucky until I moved to Halifax, where I met many lebanese. I invite you guys who arent lucky in Montreal to try HALIFAX.

Guys dont rush to come to Canada, Lebanon is much better. I will get married soon and will settle in Lebanon forever.

Raquel stay in Canada here there will be a war .It is better for u

Hi Raquel...
It's not really about being proud of Lebanon or not... no offense but you have a Canadian and a European passport... you cannot be compared to the rest of us trying to earn a living here in Lebanon... we are all university graduate (and post graduate) and we are not getting the chance we deserve here... I hope your luck is better than ours and you will find what you're looking for in Lebanon, but I must warn you: Lebanon is not what it is used to be... work wise, security, stability etc...
Good luck to all :)

Are you allowed to have 3 passports? If Canadians or Italians know that you hold 3 citizenships this might create an issue... unless you don't consider the Lebanese passport as it's useless anyway haha : ) let me know your thoughts!

Haven't heard a more dramatic story; all could have been avoided if you have just stayed in France : )

i have a very strong feeling that they are going to screw us big times if we relocate to Toronto without a Super Strong evidence that we couldn't survive in Quebec. Citizenship guys won't let it pass easily... i prefer to starve and stay in Quebec and not to breach the system and die waiting for my citizenship ...

hello alinec
can u please guide me if u can where do u recommend living in Toronto? it all depends on several factors (budget, choice of living) personally i hate suburbs in all the world including lebanon lol so in case you are the same i suggest anything south of Highway 401, i am currently living in Queen west. but expect costly condos/apartments, if you dnt have the budget i suggest Don mills/Thornhill - Richmond area which is kind of close. But bear in mind that if you live in North York, Thornhill you probably need a car and with it expenses you will end up almost the same as renting a place in Downtown Toronto what kind of work u got?I am an Architect in the original but i have been working as Architecture journalist/blogger since 6 years and my online magazine is now quiet known worldwide, this gave me an ample opportunity when i got to Toronto specially that i already made contacts and worked alot on Networking before moving as for my Husband who is also an Architect went further and did the JVS bridging program (courses on Ontario building code, REVIT, Wood Construction) they also provide internships and courses on how to get a job. He just started now as unlicensed architect in local firm, and he will start working on his licensure which will take couple of years (no extra education- he did WES evaluation before we moved). Also you need to know that after we landed we got back to beirut and stayed for a year before moving finally, this gave us ample time to preparewe are small family i work as a personnel assistant in a hospital in Beirut from nine years i have a university degree in public relation from lebanese univ, my husband is a mechanical supervisor and automotive mechanic in the port of Beirut with a 20 years of experience in his fieldhonestly i have no idea about your field of work, but you guys have experience start searching about the opportunities for your fields in canada.. how can you translate your experience and be valuable for companies there, Rewrite your Resume (i recommend professional writing services it will cost around 1500-250$ and it is worth it) in general do a lot of research online through linkedin etc.., we have a five year old boy, we all know french and English so language isn't an issue for us, we applied to CSQ (QUEBEC) we are in federal part medical done and received since February 2014 now waiting for the request of passport so we are considering to try our luck for couple of months in Montreal since it is the landing point for us and our second choice is Toronto cs we have couple of friends there in north York and Mississauga so any advice or info u can give us will be highly appreciated and thank you

Hi Hiba..

As a CSQ applicant, you need to prove that you tried to stay in Quebec before moving to another province (at least a year), moving after 2 months "might" create problems.

As for rest check my answer in Red
