yes it's beautiful city but if you want to work or study in Ottawa then you'll face too much traffic if you want to drive through the bridge that linked Gatineau with Ottawa

regarding montreal.. i mean the downtown most of the people talk english btw not only french but when you start to go out of the city people talk less and less english..

It's good to live in Gatineau cause it's cheap when it comes to the housing(Gatineau/hull/aylmer).
As for finding a job, it's difficult to find one. You only need 10-15 min to reach dt Ottawa which has lots of job opportunities.
You can realize lots of Quebec cars in the Ottawa area.
Ottawa is wayyyy more organized than Montreal.
