things you must know, that in canada you pay 46 to 55 percent taxes

Income tax
15 percent for Federal
16 percent to 25 percent for Quebec depends on your income
+
15 percent as VAT

so if you earn 42000$/ year
3500$/ month x 31 percent
2415$ will remain x 15 percent VAT
2052$ will remain

you pay house rent if family 2 bedroom, ill consider 1000$ which much less

1000$ will remain, you have 77$ for metro for you and 77$ for you wife and mobiles

Hello,
You can check on the order of engineers in Quebec website, it is all detailed and you might have to do 2 or 3 technical exams (in Canada and after a certain period of time following your arrival) depending on the university you graduated from in Lebanon. However, not all engineers are required to be part of the order in Quebec. Only the security related jobs (architects and some electrical engineering) might require so.

Regards.

a doctor in Lebanon or syria will not be a doctor in canada before going a long hard process.

student doctors easier to bridge and continue specialty , but specialist consultants will have some difficulties..

you are highlighting the negative side of Canada, not bad , but the positive side is more to mention ,
we all know Canada not a place to go make money , no matter how broken you are , you will still have a respectful life, and no one will shot gun you because you cant pay which is a trend in here..

we both haven't been there I can't convince you, but from at least 6 people I know in montreal , they are all completely satisfied, even the single ones.

man i am sorry to tell that u r wrong ,who told u that?
1-at the first if u r a general doctor ,u should pass an examen calls MCCEE ,second exam is MCQ PART 1 , third exam is MCQ PART 2,after all these exams u can apply for a specialisation and get it ,all these exams u can apply it in every country ,coz canada has many centers in every country, example,in Istanbul it has 2 centers,in Jordan has one center ..(i know that it is a long hard process but when u passed all these exams succesfully ,ur salary will be about between 10000$ - 15000$ every month).
2-regarding specialists,u should pass an exam too to get permit for working as a doctor specialist there,u should speak english and french fluently.
3-for fellowship,u should have diploma in specialisation, have MCCEE or USMLE step 2,2 letters recommendation from ur center where u r working, and apply ,after 3 years maybe u will or not get one seat for ur fellowship.
4-another thing,u can pass an exams USMLE step 1 and step 2 ck and cs (USA),but u may face some difficulties in order to work there in canada.
now u can compare which is the easiest?
regards

that sounds a long process, I don't know about the details , but I have worked with doctors who were intern at then , and now continuing their education in there , and they never complained about it.. anyway medicine has too many exams even if you complete it in Lebanon.. so getting an American or Canadian board deserves those pain
