ya jame3a my friend submitted his medical one month before me by the end of July 2014 , he got his CSQ on November 2010 and today he called me to say that he got the golden email at last and the validity of the visa till the 3rd of August 2014,it seems inno balasho yet7arako w yeshteghlo yalla 3e2belna can't wait more

Why wouldn't they give it to you? Of course they will. I'm sure you will hear something in the next few days. They are working on your file, since they asked you for a few updates. Stay positive!

you know better if there is a problem with your security, as long as it is clear, you should keep the faith you will be in Canada before the expiry of your medicals

By the way, the visa came in 3 days ago, but I didn't notice :

easy if only 3 days, better than 30 days and then the whole process for 4 years again
they probably put the lives of too many people on hold, but that moment of the visa let us forget how long it took..

Regardless of when the medical was done, most late 2010-begining 2011 applicants got their process(security check) started around mid august. by deducting one week before new years and one week after new years(holidays,files untouched), you will notice that the process took exactly 6 months...
That's how i see it
