I should be getting an update from the MP in March. I feel at this point the updates are useless, since it's always the same answer.
As for your case, I feel like your PR should be on it's way. Since your passport will be stamped in Lebanon for the visa, maybe they needed a copy of your renewed passport for their records. Hopefully I am right! It can't be much longer now. It's better to travel to Canada in the Spring/Summer anyway!

My friend are you sure ? they usually don't send CSQ by Email

of course not APR by email acknowledgement of file is complete of PR stage but CSQ by mail -post office-

I GOT THE GOLDEN E-MAIL YOU GUYS!!!! ???

"You are requested to provide the following requirements:

· Your Original valid passport(s) with at least one blank page.
· 2 recent photos (35mm x 45mm, white background). "

The only issue that I 'am supposed to have it from AMMAN! So i'll wait until Sunday to call them and ask them to let me have it from Beirut since it's much easier now for me.

As for my Timeline :

Visa Office......: Damascus--
AOR Received.: 11-4-2010
File Transfer...: 21-2-2012 To Amman
Med's Request: 15-5-2013
Med's Done....: 23-5-2013

They didn't ask me for a COPY for my new Passport as some of you here.
I'm in Damascus .

I think Canadian_Citizen is next (the closest one to my med. date)

as NOra said,it is true,coz Amman office started sending medical requests to applicants and issue visa to applicants 2010,so now they r working in amman office, inshala bucharest office will issue visa too as amman office

Today i know some other in abu dhabi vo got PPR too
seems they send PPR for all visa offices in same day

there is another applicant 2010 got the visa last month ,but her office is warsaw and she is FSW not QSW
