Well this year just started, so I don't see any good news in it for us. Maybe it cheers up people who recently got their csq and waiting for the federal to be done.
We're not worried about the csq renewal cause it's easily done, the big issue is if the medical expires and some people are forced to do it again.

From what I know, Quebec is only concerned with the csq, that's the only info we can get from them

Would they issue the visa if the medical has 2-3 months validity left?

They'd issue it even if he still has 1 week of medical exam validity but he should travel before it expires.

I'm doing another inquiry with the mp by mid February in case I don't hear anything. By then it'll be 6 months since they started processing my application

The mp can't complain cause we are QSW. We should be grateful that they're giving us updates

It can't be much longer now....something has to happen! That's why I think Feb we will hear from them.

The person I was dealing with at the MP's office has gone on maternity leave, so the person replacing her needs time to catch up. As csaade said, they can only give us information.

How do you know they can extend medical by 3 months?

through this site I read about lots of cases! they get their visas in the 10 months after medical! therefore they extend it for new 3 months! we should send an inquiry to the embassy explaining that we are afraid of the expiry of medicals!! let's do it all

Don't bother... These people don't follow emotional emails. They won't reply.
Give it till 1 month before ur medical expires before contacting them.
