Thanks for the reply, that email is exactly the one i used 2 months ago and still no reply, I needed to double check if i should mail them a copy of my CSQ renewal just to be on the safe side, i havent mailed that paper yet, any advice?

Did they ask you to mail them a copy? The reason I ask, is because we received 2 copies and they said to send one to Bucharest. You won't lose anything by sending them a copy. Better to be safe than sorry.

I would like to know which email address used that bucharest replied to very shortly, I have no idea if it is luck but i still don't get replies to my emails just like the past 2 years, last email sent was on 11th of November asking them if i should mail them my CSQ renewal copy and still no reply.

cheers,
With the renewed CSQ u definitely received a letter if u read this letter they do specify which copy to send to the embassy that is studying your file .
I don t recall which one you should send, but there is difference between the two and that difference lay on the bottom of the CSQs
Good luck

I did post all the info on here back in October of what the letters said, there was no address specified or embassy either, yes there are 2 copies.

So as stated in an earlier post, Quebec sent me my CSQ 1 year extension/renewal on the 4th of September and was delivered around mid October, 3 pages were sent and while reading it there is a note that stated:

- La copie Immigration Canada devra etre expédiée au Bureau canadien des Visas

I can see clearly that I am supposed to give one of the copies to some bureau but since no address has been specified i was hoping someone knowledgeable on this thread might shed some light on this matter. send to Romania ? Ottawa? or ?

thanks in advance
On the bottom of one of the copies you can read "immigration canada" this copie should be sent to the canadian office that is going to issue your visa in your case Bucharest

I replied to you saying you should send a copy to Bucharest. We weren't sure either, so I called immigration Quebec and they confirmed to send it to the visa office processing your application.

Hey guys
how are you all ? Hopefully, you will be in Canada soon, it's minus 20 here and it's not easy at all to have a job here....

But still better than Lebanon .... Everything here needs time and patience ...
wish you all the best of luck and in the early 2014 all of you will be in Canada...

I just have an advice for who has a good and well paid job, try to never lose it for short term.

csaade, does that mean we will be affected? since it says applicants before March 2014? Hopefully not. Could this be the reason for the delay? Although I should not start complaining yet, as my 8months wait time is not over yet.

Thanks!

I posted an article a while ago regarding the jobs in Canada. Most people are moving towards the West because it's booming. The oil is located on Alberta and Vancouver side and this is why there are lots of job vacancies. It's becoming kind of hard to find jobs on the east side, especially in Ottawa from what I see here every day.this is why the occupations have changed in the new immigration criteria.

You can apply to future shop or apple store, they're located on saint Catherine street. You need to start somewhere you know.

They have increased the gas prices 10 cents in Ottawa few weeks ago so they expand the public transit. Promises of improving the economy... Yeah right

Good thing you came in the winter so you witness the cold, minus 20 is still nothing compared to what you'll see in January and February, it's going to be minus 30 tomorrow with the windchill. It's a good time to go have a cup of hot chocolate at cacao70 on Saint Catherine.

I think it depends on the field and the city their in. Plus, as a new immigrants they need to start with an entry level position and make their way up, since they need to acquire Canadian experience. There are a lot of jobs out there, everyone just needs to be a little open minded and put their pride aside for a while. That's just my opinion.
