AlhamdulilAllah RAB Al 3alamin , Allah karamna , today i got my visa stamped on my ppt , and InchAllah 5er to all of u guys who are waiting , my VO is bucharest , i got my ppr (email) on the 21st of November , and decision made on the 25th . I was told to submit ur ppt at the VFS global in concord street Beirut , they will send it to the embassy . A fee of $42 is required (check website of VFS global) , my medicals are done on the 30th of may , meds received line on the 6th of June .

I applied for the CSQ in December 2010 in Damascus BIQ and enclosed a police certificate in the application. I got the CSQ 1 month ago in Istanbul. Now I am preparing the federal application.

In fact I left Syria right after I applied and never went back there. I worked in Gulf for about 2.5 years and now in the UK studying. Now I have police certificate from Gulf and from the UK. Do you think they will ask me for a new certificate from Syria even that I have never lived there after the original police certificate of 2010?

you need a pplice certificate for each country you lived in more than 6 months since you were 18 years old

I think you need to get it just to be on the safe side.

So you had to drop off your passport in Beirut, and the embassy sent it to Bucharest to stamp the visa?
Im_mimo, had his stamped in Beirut. I wonder why the difference in those two cases.

There is a centre called VAC in Beirut (In Verdun) where you submit your passport. They are the ones who communicate the passport back and forth to the embassy in Lebanon. This is what happened to me when I applied for a visit visa. All in all, your passport stays in Lebanon.
